Kristen Kish gets her own Travel Channel TV show, “36 Hours”

Kristen Kish was a fan favorite when she appeared on Season 10 of Top Chef, and she’s remained a public figure since, appearing in campaigns for Uniqulo and Rembrandt, as well as being featured in several magazines and newspapers, including a special feature in The Boston Globe.

Now the chef-turned-popular personality (who came out about her relationship with girlfriend Jacqueline Westbrook via social media in 2014) is co-hosting a show for The Travel Channel called 36 Hours. Alongside soccer star Kyle Marino, Kristen will “arrive in a new city where they’ll have 36 hours to explore the most delicious foods and hot spots, meet fascinating local insiders and experience the best attractions unique to each destination.”

36 Hours is inspired by the New York Times travel column of the same name, and so the Times editors and contributors will give suggestions to Kristen and Kyle in each city. The Times will also run special video content from the show, which has been greenlit for six one-hour long episodes. No word yet on when we might expect to see it premiere, but if you have yet to follow Kristen on Twitter or Instagram, now would be a great time to start. You don’t want to miss out on adorable things like this:

First birthday of yours we had just met and were living in 2 different cities now three birthdays later we are sharing our home, same city, stronger than ever. Happiest birthday to this one. Thank you for having me. Xo #foralltosee #cheeseball
