Morning Brew – JLo and Iggy Azalea heat up “Booty” video

Good morning! Happy Friday!

Tegan and Sara brought in students from Los Angeles’ Grand Arts High School’s choir to sing behind them on Conan last night.

The new Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azaela video for “Booty” is of high lesbian interest. Usually JLo is doing these kind of sexy moves on whatever dude is in her video, so I’ll happily appreciate these two women and their booty pride.

Maybe their next move will be guesting on The Fosters as a new lesbian couple down the street.

While on The Queen Latifah Show this week, Kristen Bell said she, of course, wants to know what Jennifer Lawrence’s boobs look like, but only if JLaw wants to show her.

Rumor has it k.d. lang is dating Heather Edwards, the former wife of Canadian Flames co-owner N. Murray Edwards.

T.A.t.U.’s Yulia Volkova said she would not accept a gay son.

“Yes, I would condemn him, because I believe that a real man must be a real ma. God created man for procreation, it is the nature. The man for me is the support, the strength of… I won’t accept a gay son.”

Lesbians, though, are different, she says. “[Women are] aesthetically nicer.” Oh, OK! (Eyes rolling out of my head.) God help her future children.

So often queers are left out of post-apocalyptic movies and TV shows, so Queerpocalypse is pretty awesome.

Laverne Cox will host MTV’s The T Word, a documentary about transgender youth.

Alison Bechdel’s next graphic novel will be called The Secret to Superhuman Strength and “chronicles her decades long obsession with various fitness and exercise fads, including downhill skiing, uphill skiing, rollerblading, martial arts, running, hiking, weight lifting and home workout videos and currently, yoga.” The sad part: We have to wait until 2017 to read it.

Ellen Page is sure working hard on the set of Freeheld.

Speaking of women working on cars, I am dying over Erika Linder’s shoot for Galore magazine. H-O-T.
