Queer comics/creators Beth Lisick and Tara Jepsen are behind the new series Rods & Cones, which premiered on Wifey.TV yesterday. The web show follows Carole and Mitzi, aspiring comedians, who hope to compete at the Over the Shoulder Comedy Boulders Festival with “their Hot Mom act, The MILFies.” If you like Portlandia or Napoleon Dynamite, this is the series for you.
