Morning Brew – Anna Paquin is a proud bisexual married mother

Good morning!

Out singer Sia employed Lena Dunham to help her with her Late Night with Seth Meyers performance of “Chandelier.”

Mo’Nique is playing Ma Rainey in the Queen Latifah produced and Dee Rees directed biopic Bessie. (Queen plays the legendary out singer Bessie Smith.) Also new to the cast: Tika Sumpter, as Lucille, a chorus girl in Bessie’s troupe. Bessie always enjoyed some chorus girls! And this one is gorgeous.

E! has an interview with Orphan Black EPs on how they created the newest clone.

“We had just wrapped season one, and we went out to dinner with [Tatiana] and we were going to pitch this idea to her. And she had already come up with the idea, her and her hair team. They had already been talking about a character like this. I mean, it’s obviously important to us that Tat is behind us in what we want to do in creating new characters, so the three of us went, ‘OK, let’s do it.'”
Marlene King participated in a Reddit Q&A yesterday where she answered fan questions, including how Ali’s return affects page.
And the Paige /Alison storyline this summer is one of my favorites, and I can’t wait for fans to watch it play out. It’s very emotional, and I think it’s very real to what teens go through when they are bullied.

Rose Troche, Kimberly Peirce, Jamie Babbitt and Lisa Cholodenko made the IndieWire list of 25 Most Important LGBT Filmmakers. They should have been higher, IMO.

Ariel Schrag’s new novel Adam is incredibly queer, and so so good. She spoke with Brooklyn magazine about the book, which comes out today! I highly recommend it.

Vulture had a psychiatrist analyze the prisoners of OITNB. Results: Not typical.

Lea DeLaria went on MSNBC’s Ronan Farrow Daily yesterday.

And here is Season 1 as told by cats. You’re welcome.

EW spoke with Rita Volk and Katie Stevens about the Faking It finale and “Karmasexuality.”

You probably noticed that Naya Rivera deleted her Twitter account. Luckily she still has Instagram.

La Roux has released a new track called “Tropical Cancer.”

Mashable has “The Evolution of the Pride Parade.” Always good to reflect upon. Related: Here’s a great Logo series called Trailblazers premiering June 26.

Anna Paquin is just the raddest.

Another reminder that bisexuality doesn’t disappear once you’re in a relationship.
