Morning Brew – Juliette Binoche lusts after Kristen Stewart in “Clouds of Sils Maria”

Good morning! Let’s start with a #tbt. 1971, Lily Tomlin. Vamp girl!

Here’s the cover shot of that upcoming V magazine with Madonna and Katy Perry.

I cannot wait to see Clouds of Sils Maria, especially after finally seeing this trailer and teaser clip. In the new film, Juliette Binoche is an aging actress who wants the love of her assistant, Kristen Stewart.

Are you in? I’m in!

Robin Roberts talked with Insight Daily Radio about her memoir Everybody’s Got Something.

The new season of Last Comic Standing premieres tonight on NBC and it looks like Roseanne greatly appreciated out comic DeeAnne Smith.

Terry Moore has a new Strangers in Paradise comic but it has all the usual suspects as six-year-old children. I’m assuming any lesbian content will be pretty tame.

Crystal Bowersox spoke with The Advocate about coming out and why she’s still playing MichFest despite the backlash others have gotten for doing so. Crystal said:

“I believe in equality for everyone, and I do hope that in the future the Womyn’s Fest will choose to include transgender women. In your heart, in your mind, in your lifestyle, in your body – if you’re a woman, you’re a woman. That’s that. I can also understand the festival’s stance on wanting to include, I guess, ‘natural born’ women – that’s such a strange term. It’s a place where women can go to feel completely free, and I think it’s a good thing to have a festival, but at the same time I think that maybe they should open their hearts and minds a little more.”

Out actress Jasika Nicole was interviewed on GeekNation’s Into the Blue.

Jenna Lyons and Brittney Griner are among the most influential women in the world according to Business Insider. Jenna brought her partner Courtney Crangi to the premiere of The Normal Heart this week. The HBO film has at least one lesbian character in it, so feel free to tune in for its TV premiere Sunday night.
