“If I would go down to the boozer with my colleagues and have a pint of cask ale and really appreciate it knowing that I was the person that made it, they wouldn’t care if I was a woman, American or a lesbian. Genevieve Angelson has been cast in the role that Mamie Gummer was originally playing in Backstrom, aka the degayed cop. TVLine makes no mention of her sexuality in their description of her character:
