“My first reaction to the recent Supreme Court verdict on Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code, which criminalizes gay sex, was shock and anger. The verdict turned our children criminals overnight. For what? They are just normal people going about their daily lives and suddenly they become criminals in the eyes of the law. Is it not unjust? Is it not humiliating?”

This is an interesting story! Lenore Zann is a politician in Canada, part of Nova Scotia legislature, but she was also on The L Word. Specifically, she appeared topless in a prison shower scene where she threatens Helena with a knife. Now she says she’s being cyberbullied by a teenager who tweeted a screenshot of the scene to her. Lenore said of the incident:

“I never signed on for having that image used for another purpose. I signed a contract … for my image only to be used in The L Word show. It’s not just the image of the picture that was disturbing. It was the way that these people … suddenly targeted me. It increased in velocity and intent. It was constant and it was harassing.”
