Morning Brew – Sarah Paulson’s character poster for “AHS: Coven”

It’s Friday! We made it.

Lindsay Lohan made a surprise appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for a sketch called “Ew.” I can’t help but think that Jimmy is borrowing a little too much from Kelly.

Speaking of Kellys, Kelly McGillis talked with Smashing Interviews about she has a “quiet normal life” and the new film she is working on, We Are What We Are. On why she decided to return to acting:

It’s like starting over because I’ve aged. I’ve changed. I have to reintroduce myself to people, so to speak. I don’t want to try to recreate what kind of career I had before. I don’t want to do plastic surgery. I don’t want to try to look younger than what I am. I really want to do character roles, and that’s the great thing about working with [director] Jim [Mickle]. He gives me the opportunity to do character roles, which I really enjoy.

And on if she’s an LGBT advocate:
Yes I would. I wouldn’t say I’m into militant activism. I think being an activist means being willing to be who you are in any social situation and allowing people to get to know you as a person as opposed to a label. That’s how I would describe my activism.

I don’t run around telling people what they should be thinking. I believe people have every right in the world to make up their own minds and their own decisions without my help.

Kreayshawn had a baby! It won’t be wearing Gucci or Prada because basic bitches wear that shit so she won’t even bother.

Half queer (all hot) band Savages have a new video for their song “Husbands.”

Sia has a new song on the Catching Fire soundtrack. Yay!

The New York Times has a documentary about Christine Quinn and her mayoral campaign.

The first shot from Sils Maria is available but it’s not Juliette Binoche and Kristen Stewart getting gay so maybe you don’t care.

It’s been years since we first found out there was going to be a movie version of Marvel’s Runaways, and we’ve been waiting patiently for it to come to fruition. The writer of the film, Drew Pearce gave an update:

“We were really close to being made, and then this movie started to happen called The Avengers. Oddly, it pulled focus from the unheard-of brand Runaways, and it really did kind of consume the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s there — maybe it’ll be a Phase Three movie. I really hope so. I’m really proud of it and I think it’ll be a brilliant film, but I think it all depends what Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel, his master plan is.”
However Iron Man 3 director Shane Black said we won’t see the film for a few years at least. Apparently it’s not as important as the other movies they are working on.

Jessica Capshaw talked with TVLine about being a huge cheater on screen.

E! has a look at the Cory Monteith tribute episode coming up on Glee. Naya Rivera calls it “the worst thing that ever happened to her” and Jane Lynch said the script was “the most beautiful thing.” Get your tissues ready.

Jenna Wolfe did a segment about breastfeeding her new baby in public for The Today Show.

FX has released some shots of the American Horror Story: Coven stars. Here’s Sarah Paulson looking fierce.

Check out episode three of animated web series Little Boxes.
