A Pennsylvania judge has ordered a Philadelphia county clerk to stop issuing marriage licenses to gay couples. The state has a ban on same-sex marriage and believes distributing marriage licenses to gay couples “risks causing serious and limitless harm to the public.” What horseshit!

Rumor has it there is another Wonder Woman movie circling the studios. Chronicle screenwriter Max Landis announced that he’s intending on pitching the superhero film to Warner Brothers. I’m crossing my fingers this film gets greenlit!

Cate Blanchett will lend her voice to the Imax documentary Journey to the South Pacific.

Buzzfeed posted an article titled “What It’s Like Dating as a Femme Lesbian.” As a lesbian who identifies as “femme,” I found myself nodding along as I read this post.

Toys R Us announced it’s going to stop gender-specific marketing of toys. It’s about time advertisers realize that not all little girls love the color pink and not all little boys want to play with guns.

A teacher at West Alexander Middle School in Taylorsville, NC was suspended for showing their classroom Macklemore and Ryan Lewis‘s marriage equality video “Same Love.” The school’s Associate superintendent issued a statement saying the video was “outside the bounds of the curriculum.”

On September 17, out comedian Jessica Kirson will be taking the stage for Laugh for Literacy.
