Fox is developing a female-centric drama called Broken Girl, described as Girl With the Dragon Tattoo meets Unbreakable. The series “focuses on emotionally damaged Trish Derring who, after she loses the man she saw as her last hope for happiness, decides she has nothing left to live for only to discover she’s literally invincible.” To quote Alanis Morrissette, “Isn’t it ironic? Don’t you think?”
A Russian news reporter that was fired for being gay is speaking out on his country’s discriminatory laws. Anton Krasovsky gave some insight to Variety on what he believes will occur at the 2014 Olympics and how we can make a change for the better. Krasovsky said, “We should help Russian gays, and educate straight Russians: They should be told that gays are neither brutes nor maniacs, but Olympic champions. There is hatred of gay people because of ignorance. Ignorant people should be taught.”
