Afternoon Delight: “Orange is the New Black” paper dolls for your dressing (and undressing) pleasure

Good afternoon my lovelies!

Happy birthday to Amy Adams, Joan Allen and Glee‘s latest addition, Demi Lovato!

Yesterday New Zealand’s first gay couple got married and they did it on an airplane. WTF? Lesbian newlyweds Lynley Bendall and Ally Wanikau won a contest from the Air New Zealand, which entailed a wedding service for their friends and family, a tricked out airplane ride, champagne toasts and, for some reason, an appearance by Modern Family‘s Jesse Tyler Ferguson who attended the nuptials. Congratulations to the happy couple! Attention Orange is the New Black fans! You can now dress (and undress) your favorite characters with these OITNB snazzy paper dolls. I’m printing mine out now! Gay ally and superstar Miley Cyrus is over her short haircut and is taking the hair growth vitamin supplement Viviscal. Girl, just get a weave! Cyrus will be performing at the Video Music Awards this Sunday, August 25. In this video, she explains her VMA promo outfit, grills, and onesies.

I, too, have been known to rock a onesie.

On September 3, Melissa Etheridge will be performing at the Denver Botanic Gardens (York Street) in Denver, CO.

Check out the latest trailer for Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz‘s film The Counselor.

Marg Helgenberger is returning to CSI! Helgenberger will reprise her role as Catherine Willows on the show’s 300th episode, scheduled to air on Wednesday, October 23 at 10 p.m. As members of the Westboro Baptist Church protested a Ke$ha‘s concert in Lincoln, NE the songstress sent her dance crew to perform for the ignorant congregation. Nothing says “Fuck you too” like a free show.

Today Cher will be releasing her new music video for “Woman’s World.” Here’s a preview clip from Cher’s Instagram.

While promoting her new film Drinking Buddies, actress Olivia Wilde discussed her real-life drunken mistakes.

If you like tales of secret lesbian affairs in Hollywood then make sure to catch the play Garbo’s Cuban Lover at the Macha Theatre (1107 Kings Road) in West Hollywood, CA. The play is a “suspenseful drama which explores the glamorous and secretive lives of Hollywood’s Golden Age’s most celebrated divas: Greta Garbo and Marlene Dietrich, and their love affairs with the enigmatic Mercedes de Acosta.” The production will run from Saturday, September 24 through Sunday, December 4th, 2013.

The Kids Are All Right‘s Mark Ruffalo has been named Indiewire’s Feminist of the Day for supporting abortion rights. (Ruffalo’s own mother had an illegal abortion when she was young and it scarred her for life.)
