Yesterday, Entertainment Weekly released the very first Warehouse 13 season 4.5 trailer into the wild, and with it, these very important words: “Returning guest stars will include Jaime Murray.” Jaime Murray, huh? Helena G. Wells, eh? I smell apples!
First, let’s take a look at the teaser trailer. The full version, including a clip of Myka cold-clocking James Marsters(!), is available exclusively at EW. Below is a shorter, less badass version. Click through and watch the other, come back and watch this, and then let’s discuss.
OK, so 4.5 kicks off on April 29th and we pick back up with Artie’s Black Orchid Artifact Pandemic. Also, according to Pete, there’s a “plague of tickles or an epidemic of kittens” on the way! But here’s where things get interesting: Syfy is moving the show to 10:00. They say it’s to secure the lead-in from their new original series, Defiance. I say it’s because they needed a racier time-slot so they can finally include some Helena G. Wells/Myka Bering sexytimes situations. The writers should have gone all the way with their relationship ages ago, but with chemistry that sizzling, maybe they needed a safer schedule space to explore it? I’m being too generous. Make Myka and H.G. maintext, show! Do it already! They need it! We need it! We’re all about to explode from the unreleased tension!
Also worth noting is that Polly Walker is joining the cast as “a historian who may know more about the Warehouse than she lets on.” If you’re a longtime Syfy lover like me, you’ll remember Walker as bisexual headmistresses/terrorist/Cylon mother Clarice Willow on the way too short-lived Caprica. Her lady seduction techniques were the most terrifying/amazing in all the 12 colonies. I mean, that show only lasted like ten episodes or something and she had at least two on-screen threesomes in that time. Gods willing, she will bestow her sexual cajolery upon us once more in Warehouse 13.
Are you psyched for the return of Warehouse 13 this spring? What are your big hopes for season 4.5?
