Everyone’s favorite Lost Girl is coming back this January for the third season of TV’s best show about a bisexual succubus. The series announced its Canadian and U.S. premiere dates this week. The series will return 9 p.m. Sunday Jan. 6 on Showcase in Canada and 10 p.m. Monday Jan. 14 on Syfy in the U.S.
The first photo from Season 3 was also recently released showing a bruised Bo looking bad-ass in red. Hello, Boobs O’Clock, my how we missed you.
< ahref=”http://www.showcase.ca/blog/archive/2012/11/13/new-year-new-season-new-bo.aspx” target=”_blank”>According to Showcase, the new series will have Anna Silk’s Bo making “life-altering decisions that may have deadly consequences.” The new season will also feature some new faces, including Terminator star Linda Hamilton as a ruthless assassin and Rachel Skarsten as a thrill-seeking, sexy new Fae. Reprising their roles will be Zoie Palmer, Ksenia Solo, Emmanuelle Vaugier, Kris Holden-Ried, Rick Howland and K.C. Collins. In the second Season 3 photo released, Ksenia sports some serious Betty Page bangs.
As part of the third season launch, Showcase will also air a Lost Girl ConFAEdential special and release a Lost Girl mobile gaming app. The ConFAEdential will be a catch-up show featuring the cast as they discuss the last two seasons. It will air an hour before the season premiere.
The mobile app, Lost Girl: The Game, is called a “social experience that connects fans internationally.” It will feature original storylines from the writing staff and fans can create customized Fae characters which they can play in a mystery game set in the Lost Girl universe. The free app will be available on iPhone and Android devices starting in January.
With the Canadian and U.S. airings a week apart now, it should bring more fans together to celebrate all things Fae. And, of course, recaps will be back this season here on AfterEllen.com. So, are you ready for more Bo, Lauren and hopefully Doccubus action? I know I am.
