As you’ve probably already heard, The Sopranos got a whopping 15 Emmy nominations this morning. Meanwhile, the HBO movie Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee did even better, with 17. (I missed that one entirely, so for me it’s more like Scratch My Head at HBO Monopoly.)

Look at all the AfterEllen.com hotties among the nominees! Also, sometimes the world makes sense: no nod for Ellen Pompeo but a nod for Holland Taylor. That’s correct.

The biggest surprise this year is that On the Lot actually got a nomination, for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music. I know I go around singing it all day long.

Some other highlights: Wanda Sykes: Sick and Tired was nominated for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special, and Tina Fey picked up a nom for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series (for 30 Rock, to go with her Lead Actress nomination).
