Sunday night’s Screen Actor Guild Awards honored several stars in television and film, including a handful of those who were ignored by the Golden Globes. Sean Penn won the category of Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for playing Harvey Milk, and Meryl Streep beat out Globe winner Kate Winslet in the female category. However Winslet still won in the supporting actress category for her role in The Reader. Laura Linney, Sally Field and Tina Fey each took home trophies in their respected categories (Linney, Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries; Field, Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series; Fey, Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series) and Mad Men, 30 Rock and Heroes were all winners as well. But even though so many beautiful women who attended the awards went home empty-handed, they sure made for a great-looking awards show. Here are some of the most breathtaking looks of the night:
