Every time I stop reading Rosie O'Donnell's blog, she says something interesting. It's all part of my curse — the same one that ensures a show will be swiftly canceled if I tune in. On June 17, Meadowlands premieres on Showtime. I hadn't heard anything about this series, but it looks pretty great. For one thing, these pictures are intriguing, not just because the women have intense gazes but because the atmosphere is wonky and eerie:
