Amber Heard, Amy Poehler, and the stars of “Glee” turn out for The Trevor Project’s 2011 Trevor Live!

The Trevor Project‘s annual star-studded benefit, “Trevor Live,” took place in Los Angeles last night, benefiting the organization’s crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.

The Trevor Hero Award was given to Lady Gaga for being an “inspiration to youth and increasing visibility and understanding of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning community” and Google was honored with the Trevor 2020 Award for “increasing visibility and understanding of LGBTQ issues.”

The Washington Post reports that Lady Gaga was presented the award by the family of Jamey Rodemeyer, the bullied teen who took his own life in September. Gaga said in her acceptance speech, “I appreciate this award so much. But truthfully, I am not the hero. The hero is Jamey. I want my fans and people all over the world to know that there’s always somebody that’s listening. But I want them to know they’re listening before it gets too late.”

In attendance were Amy Adams, Julie Bowen (Modern Family), Fergie, Amber Heard (The Rum Diary), Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), Julianne Hough (Dancing with the Stars), Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs (2 Broke Girls) Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation), Glee stars Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Amber Riley, Jane Lynch and Jayma Mays, Michelle Pfeiffer, Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation), Zachary Quinto and Zoe Saldana.

The event also featured performances by Mary J. Blige, Miley Cyrus, Queen Latifah, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka.
