awesome show
Jayne Doe
I love their sound. It's pretty cool. And the band is so hot!
Nice change in the seating positions. This is the first time I really noticed it since Staceyann's to the far left now.
Lauren...cute as usual. Love the hair.
first concert?
i think i win on the embarrasing first concert category... Duran Duran! and i obviously wasnt even born when they were famous let alone knew they had separated when they reunited- but in my defense: i was 14 in Spain for summer camp and i had to tag along with the host family i was staying with.
embarassing? duran duran?
embarassing? duran duran? sacrilege!!!
i finally saw them for the first time in 05, 20 something years i had waited...and it was WONDERFUL!!!
i might have a worse one
how about ricky martin? yeah...i don't know why i shared that.
No way! Ricky Martin was my first too!
And here I was, thinking: "Aw Christ, I have the most stereotypical latina teenager answer ever"... but you beat me to it!
It was... Oh hell, I forget the date... but he was JUST getting big with "La copa de la vida" and it was at the Hiram Bithorn en Puerto Rico...
wow. amazing.
Congratulations on another great show
I have to appluse the efforts that you and your team Sarah, put into "She said what"...
It's a great piece of informative entertainment and every week after the it ends, you are certainly left looking forward to the next one.
Sheetal
other lesbian bands

hahaha
Spice Girls... you totally win!
crs
to be honest...
I'm with you!
I'm with you!
Fantastic
Fantastic show as always.
First concert: Steps
Cringe-worthy
still crazy after all these years
Rick Springfield
Mine was Rick Springfield....seeing those 40 something women scream and orgasm at the sight of this dude hitting his guitar strings with bouquets of roses still makes me laugh
Oh yeah....and Sarah just keeps getting more beautiful every week. Oops! did I say that outloud?
The Show Is Rockin'
That's really funny
and a good idea, krate! I agree, our set was a little lacking this week, but that's only because we unexpectedly had to move sets at the last minute. It'll be better next time, I promise.
Thanks [RADA], that's very kind.
Tray, we're working on getting more bands like Le Tigre, etc., but we're somewhat limited to groups that are in NYC and aren't traveling a lot (which rules out a lot of the bands you mention).
Thanks to all the rest of you for the nice comments, and your own first-concert confessions! I feel better about mine now that Ricky Martin and the Spice Girls have been thrown into the mix. :)
I was wondering about the set
Thanks for the set explanation. I was wondering why the audio was all over the place. I am really looking forward to your podcasts from the Dinah. Don't forget the sunscreen! :)
I feel so old, but my first concert was Chaka Khan and Rufus opening for Earth Wind and Fire. It was a small circular venue in San Carlos, CA, where the stage rotated in the center, so every seat was at some point centerstage every couple of minutes. Chaka had a "wardrobe malfunction" not unlike Ms. Jackson's at the superbowl, and had to run offstage to fix it in mid song. Unfortunately for her, due to the band equipment, she had to wait a bit until the rotating stage got around to the stairs before she could get off the stage and attend to the broken bikini top strap. The band had a really great instrumental jam until she returned and finished the song. She and the band got a heck of a standing ovation after that song. Oh yea, Earth Wind and Fire was pretty good too.
Haha! that's awesome....I
Haha! that's awesome....I guess technically my first concert was Chaka Khan too. My mom was pregnant with me at the time. This was during Chaka's drinking days....my parents said she was so hammered she fell off stage. eep!
So yeah....also looking forward to the Dinah Shore weekend. Is it going to be a poolside taping with you ladies all in swimsuits?? :D
oh man!
I noticed that too!
I think she was checkin them both out cause she even leaned forward a lil bit (maybe to see the other girl better). It was cute lol. And she was particularly cute today.
You're right!
I never would have noticed that! It's hilarious...
Band interviews are fun, I do hope the guys don't go back to politics.
First concert was Bryan Adams.
It happens a lot..
I can't see how it's
I can't see how it's possible she's single.
And my first (and well only) concert was Evanescence.
Rock n Roll wedding!
The last wedding I went to ROCKED! My friends mom got married and she had our friend's band play who is like a hardcore metal thrash band and this woman, who's like almost 50 MOSHED in her wedding dress! and i borrowed a dress from her and moshed in it too and we hella ripped out shit up
it was sooooo awesome and slightly...ghetto...but twas amazing
btw the show is getting better n better, keep up the good work!
the only thing is tho, the sound quality could really be worked on
sorry i used to vonlunteer at a local tv station doin that kinda stuff so i'm always all nit picky about it lol

"Valentine's Day's coming? Aw crap! I forgot to get a girlfriend again!"- Fry
The ladies could broadcast
The ladies could broadcast standing on their heads and blowing bubbles and I sill would watch, crap set or not. As long as the show goes on..I have to say I didn't realise Lauren was macking...(although when Kim was on she was in overdrive. Its all good..no harm in looking right ? ;) Keep macking Lauren, we ALL do it...
I would never of guessed Staceyann would say Kenny Rogers lol I think that's fantastic, but then she does no wrong in my eyes..I think all the above first time concerts have made me laugh..at least it wasn't Cliff Richard, or Des O'Connor. And I have none so I am feeling left out..
By the way I was having surreal difficulties in watching this weeks episode, no grey square could match the she said what cast, EVER..tech support, we are being deprived (well I was..) Great show as usual, I cannot wait for the DINAH SHORE, She Said..that will be something to look forward to...
Hey if anyone is still
Macking?
Great Show
It's really great there's a show like this out there, I'm following it every week. Keep at it ladies!
And did I mention how cute Lauren is ;-) ...!
Macking?
And....
I now watch the show on
I now watch the show on I-Tunes having subscribed to she said..its a pain in the bum but, if you want something you have to look at the alternatives. No she said would mean a Thorny nasty Rose. Lauren the ladies have explained the term "macking" perfectly, not much for me to add :-)
How else am I going to ogle the the cast tut tut....lol
oh man
If it makes you feel any better:
My first concert was The Backstreet Boys.
...With Aaron Carter opening.
Bon Jovi - Keep The Faith tour
That was my 1st, I was the envy of some of the girls at my school. Now it's just cringe worthy!
showing my age!
Well, mine was a free concert in Hyde Park, London with The Rolling Stones! And Mick Jagger was wearing a white dress...:)
