    Great episode! I

Great episode! I particularly liked the political discourse among you and hearing your thoughts on Obama and Hillary. While neither supports gay marriage, I'm sure I've read somewhere that Obama is pro-civil union. As far as Clinton goes, she just addressed an HRC meeting in Washington a week or two ago - consummate politician that she is. Both of them are allies of the GLBT community - kind of.

Kim was a nice addition. And I'm lovin' Lauren in that white tank. :)

    i totally agree that this

i totally agree that this was a great episode!!! lauren looks so sweet in that white tank top:) chagimon is cute as always:) as for the same-sex marriage issues... all i have to say is... "i am proud to be canadian" :)

    Hilarious

The Kitty Litter Date had me dying!  Too funny (and gross).  Kim is obviously extremely bright and very entertaining.  Sarah was on a roll this episode too.

"I'm not sorry for what I did.  I'm sorry for what I didn't do."

    sfinch's picture

    Sigh

I love the way Chagmion overemphasizes "What" when introducing the show. How lovely

While working a "glamourous" job at Petco, I recall one woman who purchased 100 pounds of cat litter. She proudly told me that after her husband left her she got joy out of the fact his former office had turned into a giant litter box. Thanks Kim for reminding me of that crazy woman, perhaps they were related

    Great discussion

Hey, another great episode.  It was refreshing to hear the discussion of political topics in addition to the usual entertaining talk.  Guest Kim definitely has a bright future ahead of her, as she seems to be very engaged in national and worldwide events that affect us all.  I think we all have met a "crazy cat lady" at some point in our lives, but Kim's horror date story has got to be right up there in the top 5 worst encounters ever.  Keep up the great work!  (These episodes should really get some airtime on Logo, IMHO).

is she still with her girlfriend ?

thank u thank u thank u thank u for having kim stolz on!!! i gasped when i saw you had her on the show this week. god i'm so in love with her.

    Good Episode.

I enjoyed very much the first part of the episode about presidential candidates and the issues.

But what I enjoyed the most was watching Lauren.

    Politics

There seems to be a tendency that when people start talking about minority politicians running for president, the fact that Bill Richardson is biracial like Obama is completely ignored.  The difference might just be that Obama and Clinton spend the most money in order to be obsessively dwelled upon by corporate media.  Although 'She Said What' isn't a political discussion group, perhaps since it represents a minority population it has the added responsibility of addressing issues outside of the culture industry in the same manner as it does those within.  One would hope that there would be a sensitivity towards those marginally and extremely outside the mainstream of politics as well as media.

    Too perfect

... and that is not always a good thing. I thought the discussion on politics was a little too "been there" or maybe everything seemed so politcially correct. Also think the episode was slightly less spunky than the previous ones.

Chagmion's hair was a little bizarre which is strange and good going for Lauren with that white tee!

    Still my favourite talk show!

    mustang_sally's picture

    Loved it!

This episode was great.  Sarah's "Hugh Grant's hair" comment about when "flip-flop" came about was very funny.

Kim was cool, and yes, very opinionated....hilarious (and disgusting) cat-lady story.

Lauren, I loved that white tank.  You look fantastic.

    Bad camera work

The show concept is interesting, Kim Stotz is great, but why are the panel members' heads cut off in every episode? It's frustrating! You can barely see Kim's eyes in this one. You need to prop that camera up or something.

    Great episode !!!

I realy like this episode. I was looking foward to it.

Luv the political talk. But as lost2life said "everything seems so politically correct"!!!!

As always, all of you look good. But Lauren, Lauren, Lauren, are you trying to kill us? It's already a pain that we can only watch you on this show, did you realy had to put that white T, and those heels??? Have mercy on me; don't put water on my mouth when I won't be able to bite. Please next time cover up, cover up. LOL LOL

Speaking of covering up, Staceyann didn't have to cover up that mutch!

Kim is just lovely :-) Intresting personnality. N those boots are so so sssooo SEXY. She was working those boots. (Like them less on the clipfrom MTVU though) LOL

Again, another great one. Take care

    Reading the comments

After reading the comments on this show, an idea hit me. Scribe should re-cap it. These comments read like a re-cap of sorts anyway. Lots of observations on the hostesses looks, fashions, mannerisms, the set, and oh yeah...the guest(s). I noticed that Kim and Chagmion were wearing those poofy short-sleeved shirts. I believe both Bette and Alice wore similar styled shirts that elicited some funny comments from Scribe. Then Lauren wears the classic white tank...also very L Word right now and makes all the girls swoon. The Kitty Litter Date pretty much speaks for itself. So it got me thinking...imagine what a Scribe Grrrl re-cap would read like for this show. :D

    sfinch's picture

    recap?????

Yes, Scribe grrl is a riot, but c'mon you want her to recap a 10 minute talk show. Thats stretching it just a bit

    sfinch...Joking

I was just kidding around you know, being completely facetious.

    Good joke Nichole

    Nichole if only...lol

More enchantment and enlightenment from the ladies again this week. Kim's story had me in stiches and I felt nauseous.ugh...I can't think about it but I will.

Politics - Lauren is right one's political agenda as we all know it changes once in power, it will hopefully be an interesting race for the White House, I too like Stacey (swoon) want to know what the politcs are of each individual AND how it affects Americans of all cultures, race, not forgetting healthcare, economy etc etc.. and the whole world in general. By the way Sarah was particularly on fire, in this episode maybe ALL the hosts should run for president..

I knew Lauren's vest would get the comments LMAO ( I say vest because in the UK, that's what they are called..)

    barack obama is BI-RACIAL,

barack obama is BI-RACIAL, not black, although unfortunately in this country we still adhere to the one drop rule. anyway, i really don't believe that america is ready for for a president who doesn't fall into the paradigm of rich white male. we can barely deal with the egregious accounts of racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination in this country in everyday life, forget a presidential election. maybe it's pessimistic, but thats how i feel. i'll still vote for whomever i feel is most qualified, which i don't know yet, because nothing is finalized, and it won't necessarily be barack or hillary, despite the fact that i am a woman of color. i guess we'll just have to wait and see who ends up in the white house, and if they actually effect some progressive changes (unlike our current president) on a myriad of fronts.

anyway, the ladies are lovely as usual, and kim's look has changed so much! she's still opinionated though, one of the things i like about her. i think i'll check her show out. the kitty litter date is hilarious, and i actually went out with someone similar to that! maybe they know each other! lol. anyway two thumbs up to lauren for the white wife-beater and white bra, i wear it that way too. very cute.

    Nice Job!

Wonderful episode as always!!! The politics are always so interesting to discuss!

Lauren looks amazing in the white tank!!!! ;-) *sigh*

    good show cats.

    Lauren

It seems to me that Lauren is quite popular. She is beautiful but I think the rest of the cast deserves comments as well. They all seem very smart and attractive. Sarah is cute in that media geek sort of way. I do feel as if the episodes always end abruptly.

    Worse date ever !

Well I think I deserve 1st price for the worst date EVER competition.

About a month ago a girl manoeuvered me into a date (I MUST learn how to say no !) and it turned out to be a complete disaster... the kind of diner when you have to scream "Check please" as soon as possible but you can't 'cause she's the only one talking !

Best quote of the evening, when the plates came, she said : "So the last time I saw my mother, we faught and I had to run away because I had a knife in my hands. Two years later she died of anorexia nervosa and her body was found 3 weeks later in an advanced decomposition state."

    Enjoy your meal...

    Love your pic Vans.

    taken from Lauren's myspace? HOT.
    Paperback Writer's picture

    What is Lauren's myspace

    What is Lauren's myspace anyway?

Lol, my belief is firm that anybody named Lauren is destined to be hot (my name is Lauren btw), I mean, Lauren Blitzer, Lauren Lee Smith...

I love Lauren's look, i loved the white tank, and her belt. Very slick chic style. Did anybody notice Lauren was checking Kim out while she was talking around 4:07-4:35? Funny. Anywho, good episode..

Objectification of Women and Political Blurbs

I'm sick to death of comments on the way women look. And saying you're in love with someone you don't know is childish.

The program was about politics and I thought the comment on the dilemma of a black lesbian woman having to decide whether a black man or a white woman would have her interests most at heart very interesting. But more discussion was necessary. Why the hell anyone thinks Melissa Etheridge should be a president is beyond me. If the panel wants us to get more serious about politics, they should be so themselves. This was embarrassingly superficial.

    Karyn L's picture

    The Checking Out of Kim

Haha, Lauren, I noticed that too! I thought it was just me, because I pointed it out to my sis and she was all, "Nah she was just adjusting her posture" and I was like, "Yeah, to cover up her furtive glances..."
    hrj202's picture

    i was waiting...

for someone else to comment on lauren's little "up and down stare" of kim.  haha.  that would be a handsome couple.  i thought perhaps i was "projecting" the occurance but it seems it happened or else i have some fellow "projectors" out there as well...
