Good morning, Brewbies, and welcome to hopefully the last Monday you’ll have to work before your Christmas vacation!

Kate McKinnon stole the show on SNL again this weekend, despite the fact that it was John Goodman‘s 13th time hosting. In the Mexican state of Jalisco, a lesbian couple that was refused a marriage license earlier this year have finally been granted permission by the government to get married, making them the first same-sex couple to be married in their state.

Borough president Marty Markowitz has declared Brooklyn “the lesbian capital of New York City and the northeast.” During his WNYC radio interview, he also said: “[Lesbians have] made unbelievable contributions to the quality of life in our city and our borough.” All righty!
