All the talk of gay marriage has made us to start thinking about what factors help constitute the perfect couple.
Is it shared good looks? Shared creative ability? Shared low standards and fear of being alone? Well, nobody really knows for sure. But this week, we hand-pick some of our favorite duos and discuss what it is that we like about them.
Whether they’re gay or straight, fictional or real, there are some couples that just seem right together, like Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, or Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner. And there are some who seem like couples even if they technically aren’t, like Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King, or Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. Especially Poehler and Fey.
