UK model and TV personality Jodie Marsh has come out of the closet. She announced she’s in a romantic relationship with her hairdresser, Nina. (I’ll refrain from any jokes on servicing and/or scissoring.)
It seems the news has been received rather cynically, as Marsh is better known for speaking publicly of her sex life (which, up until now, mostly revolved around men). She even had an entire show dedicated to her finding a man to marry, called Totally Jodie Marsh: Who’ll Take Her Up the Aisle?, where she chose a husband (they later split).
OK, so lots of sex with multiple men does not mean you can’t be a lesbian. However, it is hard to know if someone who constantly cries out for publicity by appearing on Celebrity Big Brother and in tabloids with other C-List stars is being up front. (Really, it makes me wonder, “What is Nina thinking?”)
According to the UK’s gossip rag NOW, Marsh fell for her hairdresser (whom she’s known for 12 years) after Nina gave her a shorter haircut.
“I’ve had loads of s–t men,” Marsh says. “I can see why women turn lesbian, because you get to the point where you’re sick of hearing so much f——g bull—t, so you start to look elsewhere.”
“I love the way she kisses and she doesn’t f–k me about,” she continued. “I feel comfortable with her. Nina’s as sexy as any man.”
I might have believed her, had she said “sexier than any man” — but how can I not think she’s gay after this statement?
“If I’m going to watch porn, I’ll only watch girl on girl. Two girls together turn me on.”
Well, there it is. She’s one of us — or a straight man. I’d like to believe the latter.
