I had the craziest dream last night. I dreamed that Dreamgirls was not nominated for Best Picture.

Oh, it wasn’t a dream?! Then can I please go back to sleep? I mean, I loved Little Miss Sunshine, but never in a million years would I choose it over Dreamgirls. Bah. Seems to me the Best Picture and Best Director nominees are rather male-oriented, not to mention boring.

At least Jennifer Hudson was nominated, and of course host Ellen DeGeneres will keep things interesting. Here are the big six:
