Find My Own Way There

Hello ladies of AE.  I have been sitting and thinking about my life thus far recently and thought, why not write it down and use those creative writing skills.  I took creative writing in college for a reason, right?  So here is my story.  I am placing it in the fiction section because much like Dragnet "the names and places have been changed to protect the innocent"

I have written the first few pages and will post them below.  I know it seems like heavy topics but the humor will come out more as the story goes on.  The first few posts are basically an overview of my past so you know where I'm coming from and some of my history.  The story is actually going to start (and some of the humor) once I get to the age of 16.  I am an upbeat and positive happy person most of the time.   

I hope you enjoy the story and that it can help some people who have less than accepting families.
