I'd noticed this Season 4 has just started on LIVINGTV at midnight on Fridays too.
Rubbish! I have a busy Mon to Fri job and Friday nights I'll either be in bed recovering or out socialising. Not in front of the TV. Unless all UK lesbians / L-Word fans are expected to have the cash for a SKY plus subscription (that's like TIVO in the states, I think?)
I'd also missed Season 3 the first time around and so had only got half way through Season 3 on ftn when Season 4 was due it's midnight start. We haven't got the DVDs for Season 3 yet, unless you're prepared to fund the pirate market.
So I'll just wait another 18 months for the DVDs I suppose. Although I'm not sure I want to fork out from what I've seen of Season 3 so far. Hmm.
Oh I could kiss the feet of the people who invented SKY+. Like you said, after a week @ work I can't stay up til midnight waiting for it - I'm out or crashed out in my bed!!
Infuriatingly, in several mainstream tv listings schedules, The L Word has been listed in the "don't miss", recommended listings on four or five occasions, that I've noticed. Yet with this rubbish scheduling, audience figures will appear to be dwindling and the UK channels may not bother to invest in future series as a result.
Is there someone we can write to an protest about this?
For season 4 of The L Word i have now go into the habbit of going to bed around 9.30ish then setting the alarm for midnight and watching and recording it then. I cant really lose sleep as i have work early on the saturday :-(
Theres was a few people on youtube that uploaded the whole of season 4, not sure if its still there tho
I would imagine the same time as this year, providing livingTv keep it, cos this year with them putting it on at Midnight it felt like they were trying to slowly get rid of it, but if they do i would say around september time (I hope, it always seems to be a little later each year).
Either way i plan to have SKY Plus this time around, lost to much sleep watching season 4
Also some ones bound to upload it to youtube when it airs in the US like they did with season 4

TLW is also being re-run on Living TV - channels 112 and 113 on Sky but they have it at the awful time of 2.00am and 3.00 am each night.

See i can't say that as i watch Blood Ties, but if i didnt watch it then i would say that.
Also with season 5 i hopes its on at a respectable time like hmmm 10pm (would be nice)
