I happen to like Shane's hair... But it was a brief glimpse. Her hair has always screamed "BRUSH ME!!!" -- So any change is an improvement as far as I am concerned. :P

I personally can't wait to see Alexandra Hedison on the small screen again. I remember her from a short lived show called Prey and of course L.A. Firefighters.
I thought she wanted to retire from acting and concentrate on being a full time photographer, stay out of the lime light? Well, whatever her reason for getting back to acting, I'm really glad she'll be back on TV. 10 episodes... not bad, not bad at all. Now, if we could only get rid of those horrible, horrible Jenny writing carnivale freakoid scenes and all the characters would start acting consistent, we'd actually have a semi-watchable show ;)
All kidding aside, I'm really excited about Hedison being on the L Word. Rock on!

Just a few thoughts on the spoilers and their connection to season 2:
Tina & Bette: I think exploring their relationship issues in therapy could be interesting depending on the approach that is taken. If it is endless Dan Foxworthy sessions I’m not sure if it would work so well, but one of the things I didn’t like so much in season 2 is that Bette & Tina really kind of changed as people thorough the series, which was incredibly interesting to watch, but when they ended up together at the end of episode 13, the issues of why they split up had barely been discussed. I would like to see them address why their relationship wasn’t working, and how Tina’s independence and Bette’s greater awareness of her need to take care of Tina will affect they way they relate to each other. Also, whether Tina has forgiven Bette for Candice? It was pretty important for the direction of their characters and relationship all season, but I can't recall much of a discussion taking place between them :? .
Shane & Carmen: I will be disappointed if Shane completely changes character quickly and becomes really feminine, but I don’t think trying on a dress necessarily means that is the direction the writers will take. I like Shane & Carmen together and it will be interesting to see how Carmen’s family changes their relationship and Shane become more willing to trust and love Carmen :heart: .
Jenny: I like the addition of Moira, and hope that she will help Jenny find peace and happiness. I’ve never really been a Jenny fan, mainly because of the Carnival flashbacks and writing sequences :x , but felt great empathy for her at the end of season 2.
Kit: I don’t get why Pam Grier has so few scenes, and what she does get has to do with that weird seminar guy. Things don’t seem to be changing early in the third season if the spoilers prove to be true :( . I like the combination of Kit and the Planet…I just want to see more of it.
Dana & Alice: Alice as an obsessed stalker 8O . Totally doesn’t fit with her character. At the end of season 2, I didn’t think their relationship would last (and kind of hoped it wouldn't 'caus i'm a Lara fan :P ). I thought Alice was a little clingy and got the impression that Dana wasn’t into a long-term commitment. Flirting with Lara (who Alice is obviously not comfortable hanging out with) in front of Alice was really insensitive in my opinion, and just not something I would imagine someone who is completely committed to another person doing. But having Dana and Alice hardly talking, Alice hanging outside Dana’s home and watching them have sex - really inconsistent and kind of soap-operaish. I hope this doesn’t mean the end of the shows best comic duo.
Helena: No way would Alice befriend Helena unless Alice is possessed and Helena has undergone a complete personality change. The ‘group’ is really tight, and unless Alice is now on the outer, after what Helena did to Bette I can’t imagine any of them running to befriend her. Just doesn't make sense :? .
These are only possible spoilers though, and especially in relation to Alice & Dana, I hope that is all they remain.

I AM SO PISSED OF AT THE GOD DAMN PROMO THINGY! It won't play! I wanna see what Shane's hair looks like for Season 3! I never got to see Season 1 or the beginning of Season 2 so I don't know alot about all of the happy stuff you guys are talking about, but the spoilers seem kinda werid. I mean come on, Alice and a drug addict stalker and Bette and Tina's relationship getting screwed up AGAIN! I mean come on, is this showed supposed to make EVERYONE'S LIFE HELL?!?!?!?!?!? Dana and Alice have a far far better chemistry between them than what Dana and the soup chef did. Alice, tho clingy and co-dependent there for awhile remains the key to bringing Dana out of herself. Look at what she did with the sex toys. And look how Alice brought Dana out of herself on the Olivia Cruise they went on at the end of Season 2. Dressing her up and getting her to allow her to be free and wild. Dana needs that and Alice can give it to her. So what if Alice gets a little clingy and dependent on Dana?! Who wouldnt want a wonderful woman like Alice (and she really IS wonderful) to be around to get you out of yourself once in awhile. Dana is a professional athlete and has to act a certain way, but with Alice, she can be kooky and kinky and all sorts of not herself and Alice being there for her is a reaffirmation to Dana that says, "yes, Dana, you can be this way and I wont judge you for being you". Damn, who wouldnt want a woman to be that way for them. All the soup chef ever wanted to do was fuck Dana; she never wanted to bring Dana out of herself like what Alice does. Im GLAD Dana came to her senses about her and told her to basically get lost. Tho Kit's hiring of Lara was somewhat predictable. Let me be one of the writers for The L Word; I could write things way better than they can and that show would soar higher than it already is.
Things need to also change for Jenny. Her character is sorely misused on this show. The days of the troubled writer have got to stop. The writers of this show arent giving her a good story line and they need to get either Marina or Robin to re-enter Jennys life. Marina maybe; she got a little bit evil at the end of Season 1, but boy oh boy did Jenny fuck up letting Robin go. I always hated Mad About You when it was on the air but the only reason I watched it was because of Anne Ramsay -- yummy!! Her character on The L Word (Robin) needs to re-enter Jennys life because quite honestly, Jenny needs a better story line. Something like she gets the psychological help she needs and as shes going to her therapy sessions who should she run into but Robin! How great a story line that would be. Hire me Ilene and Rose!! Ill make good storylines come up.
Ivan needs to come back into Kits life. After all he helped her buy The Planet from Marinas hubby. And lets face facts there, too -- Ivan and Kit had wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better chemistry than what Kit has with the T.O.E.-jam guy.
Season 3 better not just be all about Tina and Bette adopting Tina's baby. Or about Carmen and Shane's relationship either because in watching Showtime lately, I could have sworn I saw some clips of Season 3 included in a little montage about the shows on Showtime and Carmen's family doesnt know shes a Lesbian??? Cause Shane says shes going to "play it straight"??? I hope for the sake of Showtime they dont screw up and make it be the last season for The L Word. I want to see it last as long or even longer than what Queer As Folk did. We need this show on the air for as long as possible.

The only fun part is the one involved "chocolate" between Bette and Tina.
And these two, they really need to talk! And change their therapist!
Alice and Dana, I saw it comming, but, Alice can´t be nuts and can´t be with Hellena! That´s absolutly wrog with the dinamic of the group, or there isn´t any group anymore?????????????????
I´m sad and expecting february to see at put all my fears behind and see that the spoiler didn´t work.

You are so right when you say that Alice cant go nuts -- it fouls up the entire dynamic of the group and if they do that the writers then this will be the last season of The L Word, and I dont think you or me or any of our sisters who watch this show want that. I agree that the chocolate scene if it happens with Bette and Tina will top their sexy scene when they made love at Tinas place after the ultrasound but youre right Tina and Bette need to be more talkative in their relationship so that the mishap with the carpenter doesnt happen again. Shane and Carmen are doomed because Shane is too much of an independent spirit to be tied down to just one woman. I will loose very much respect and love for Dana if she gets back with the soup chef. Despite their numerous lovemaking scenes, the chemistry between Dana and Lara is just downright boring. Alice is the key to keeping the kookieness and silliness of the show and God help them if they pair her off with The Dragon Lady (Helena). Get rid of her -- shes just bad news. Jenny needs Robin or Marina back and Kit needs Ivan back.
I want to see this show last longer than what Queer As Folk did. And the sex scenes need to be racier and steamier. I think I speak for all my sisters watching the show when I say that we would like to "see" more of Jennifer Beals. We see alot of Laurel Holloman but seeing her and Jennifer Beals will be a treat beyond belief. I realize it may not happen due to Jennifer Beals being pregnant but hey they can show her from the waist up!!

I've just spent the afternoon reading S3 spoilers from different websites....and I really wish I hadn't. First of all the following clip was posted from Variiety mag.
"Meanwhile, the Pierson-directed 2006 seg of the third season of "The L Word" for exec producer Ilene Chaiken deals with transformation (transition) of one of the femme characters who goes back to men, as well as lesbian medical issues, superstitions, monogamy and infidelity."
The above led to numerous opinions about whether it was Tina, Jenny or Alice that went back to men. Just when I was convinced that it wasn't Tina someone went and posted a scanned script that shows dialogue and a kiss between Tina and a character called Henry, who seems to be some sort of childrens swimming instructor. Within the same scanned script is reference to Bette being in a monastary talking to a monk whilst scrubbing floors. Apparently the script is from episode 9.
Re the medical issues that was some talk of Kit facing a medical problem but recent spoilers seems to be around a cancer story involving Dana. Whilst some readers speculate that it must be Dana who dies, someone has 'confirmed' that it is Dana's mother who dies and refers readers to Erin's own website and a recent Q&A article.
I really regret reading all this as I'm gutted about Tina's intended dalliance with Henry......and God only knows what has happened to Bette! I know that JB has gone on maternity leave, but her character in a monastary seems a bit OTT. I just hope Tina's temptation is a diversion storyline whilst Jennifer is on maternity leave and love prevails afterall when Bette returns from her period of spritual enlightenment!

Allegedly a Variety magazine newsclip includes a quote from Ilene Chaiken that refers to a femme character going back to men plus a number of other issues...none of which mention a character by name....all very mysterious.
Then in the above boards someone has attached a scanned version of part of a script of episode 9....allegedly! Within the dialogue it can quite clearly be interpreted as Tina who is struggling with her feelings for a guy called Henry. Then to top that there a scene with Bette in a Monastery.
Hope this explains it a bit better....but I hope it is all bulls..t!

Anybody heard anything more about a death in the 3rd series? I've heard it is to do with Dana........some forum discussions report it's Dana's Mother whilst someone has claimed to know from an extra that it is Dana herself as Erin Daniels is to leave the show. :(
I heard from someone online that Kit gets sick and dies and it really messes up Bette! And then Tina and Bette fight... and Tina ends up with a guy! But it's only a rumor someone told me!

There is something wrong with Kit and she's been putting it off because she couldn't deal! So there is a possiblity, as sad as it might be, that Kit could get really ill and die. Just my thoughts...
I just read thelwordonline's gossip page, and really, really hope it's not true that Dana dies in season 3:( That would definately suck, and I'm sure that I'm not the only fan of the show that would be saddened by the departure of one of the show's best characters.
Also i've heard that carmen got fired or is quitting. All the s3 spoilers i've heard so far i dislike. The spoilers with shane and carmen breaking up because carmen comes out and her family dont approve, would just suck. The other spoiler involving carmen and shane breaking up because of Dana's death and shane shutting everyone out, is also horrible.Alice going home to a cardboard cut out of dana is terrible cos i love alice. so i can only hope that the rumours and spoilers arent true. The spoilers make s3 seem like it's going to be depressing.

I personally can't wait to see Alexandra Hedison on the small screen again. I remember her from a short lived show called Prey and of course L.A. Firefighters.
I thought she wanted to retire from acting and concentrate on being a full time photographer, stay out of the lime light? Well, whatever her reason for getting back to acting, I'm really glad she'll be back on TV. 10 episodes... not bad, not bad at all. Now, if we could only get rid of those horrible, horrible Jenny writing carnivale freakoid scenes and all the characters would start acting consistent, we'd actually have a semi-watchable show ;)

Just a few thoughts on the spoilers and their connection to season 2:
Tina & Bette: I think exploring their relationship issues in therapy could be interesting depending on the approach that is taken. If it is endless Dan Foxworthy sessions I’m not sure if it would work so well, but one of the things I didn’t like so much in season 2 is that Bette & Tina really kind of changed as people thorough the series, which was incredibly interesting to watch, but when they ended up together at the end of episode 13, the issues of why they split up had barely been discussed. I would like to see them address why their relationship wasn’t working, and how Tina’s independence and Bette’s greater awareness of her need to take care of Tina will affect they way they relate to each other. Also, whether Tina has forgiven Bette for Candice? It was pretty important for the direction of their characters and relationship all season, but I can't recall much of a discussion taking place between them :? .
Shane & Carmen: I will be disappointed if Shane completely changes character quickly and becomes really feminine, but I don’t think trying on a dress necessarily means that is the direction the writers will take. I like Shane & Carmen together and it will be interesting to see how Carmen’s family changes their relationship and Shane become more willing to trust and love Carmen :heart: .
Jenny: I like the addition of Moira, and hope that she will help Jenny find peace and happiness. I’ve never really been a Jenny fan, mainly because of the Carnival flashbacks and writing sequences :x , but felt great empathy for her at the end of season 2.
Kit: I don’t get why Pam Grier has so few scenes, and what she does get has to do with that weird seminar guy. Things don’t seem to be changing early in the third season if the spoilers prove to be true :( . I like the combination of Kit and the Planet…I just want to see more of it.
Dana & Alice: Alice as an obsessed stalker 8O . Totally doesn’t fit with her character. At the end of season 2, I didn’t think their relationship would last (and kind of hoped it wouldn't 'caus i'm a Lara fan :P ). I thought Alice was a little clingy and got the impression that Dana wasn’t into a long-term commitment. Flirting with Lara (who Alice is obviously not comfortable hanging out with) in front of Alice was really insensitive in my opinion, and just not something I would imagine someone who is completely committed to another person doing. But having Dana and Alice hardly talking, Alice hanging outside Dana’s home and watching them have sex - really inconsistent and kind of soap-operaish. I hope this doesn’t mean the end of the shows best comic duo.
Helena: No way would Alice befriend Helena unless Alice is possessed and Helena has undergone a complete personality change. The ‘group’ is really tight, and unless Alice is now on the outer, after what Helena did to Bette I can’t imagine any of them running to befriend her. Just doesn't make sense :? .
These are only possible spoilers though, and especially in relation to Alice & Dana, I hope that is all they remain.

I AM SO PISSED OF AT THE GOD DAMN PROMO THINGY! It won't play! I wanna see what Shane's hair looks like for Season 3! Dana and Alice have a far far better chemistry between them than what Dana and the soup chef did. Alice, tho clingy and co-dependent there for awhile remains the key to bringing Dana out of herself. Look at what she did with the sex toys. And look how Alice brought Dana out of herself on the Olivia Cruise they went on at the end of Season 2. Dressing her up and getting her to allow her to be free and wild. Dana needs that and Alice can give it to her. So what if Alice gets a little clingy and dependent on Dana?! Who wouldnt want a wonderful woman like Alice (and she really IS wonderful) to be around to get you out of yourself once in awhile. Dana is a professional athlete and has to act a certain way, but with Alice, she can be kooky and kinky and all sorts of not herself and Alice being there for her is a reaffirmation to Dana that says, "yes, Dana, you can be this way and I wont judge you for being you". Damn, who wouldnt want a woman to be that way for them. All the soup chef ever wanted to do was fuck Dana; she never wanted to bring Dana out of herself like what Alice does. Im GLAD Dana came to her senses about her and told her to basically get lost. Tho Kit's hiring of Lara was somewhat predictable. Let me be one of the writers for The L Word; I could write things way better than they can and that show would soar higher than it already is.
Things need to also change for Jenny. Her character is sorely misused on this show. The days of the troubled writer have got to stop. The writers of this show arent giving her a good story line and they need to get either Marina or Robin to re-enter Jennys life. Marina maybe; she got a little bit evil at the end of Season 1, but boy oh boy did Jenny fuck up letting Robin go. I always hated Mad About You when it was on the air but the only reason I watched it was because of Anne Ramsay -- yummy!! Her character on The L Word (Robin) needs to re-enter Jennys life because quite honestly, Jenny needs a better story line. Something like she gets the psychological help she needs and as shes going to her therapy sessions who should she run into but Robin! How great a story line that would be. Hire me Ilene and Rose!! Ill make good storylines come up.
Ivan needs to come back into Kits life. After all he helped her buy The Planet from Marinas hubby. And lets face facts there, too -- Ivan and Kit had wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better chemistry than what Kit has with the T.O.E.-jam guy.
Season 3 better not just be all about Tina and Bette adopting Tina's baby. Or about Carmen and Shane's relationship either because in watching Showtime lately, I could have sworn I saw some clips of Season 3 included in a little montage about the shows on Showtime and Carmen's family doesnt know shes a Lesbian??? Cause Shane says shes going to "play it straight"??? I hope for the sake of Showtime they dont screw up and make it be the last season for The L Word. I want to see it last as long or even longer than what Queer As Folk did. We need this show on the air for as long as possible.

I read that spoiler too, Baby Sis. My hope is that its all a big lie. You are so right when you say that Alice cant go nuts -- it fouls up the entire dynamic of the group and if they do that the writers then this will be the last season of The L Word, and I dont think you or me or any of our sisters who watch this show want that. I agree that the chocolate scene if it happens with Bette and Tina will top their sexy scene when they made love at Tinas place after the ultrasound but youre right Tina and Bette need to be more talkative in their relationship so that the mishap with the carpenter doesnt happen again. Shane and Carmen are doomed because Shane is too much of an independent spirit to be tied down to just one woman. I will loose very much respect and love for Dana if she gets back with the soup chef. Despite their numerous lovemaking scenes, the chemistry between Dana and Lara is just downright boring. Alice is the key to keeping the kookieness and silliness of the show and God help them if they pair her off with The Dragon Lady (Helena). Get rid of her -- shes just bad news. Jenny needs Robin or Marina back and Kit needs Ivan back.
I want to see this show last longer than what Queer As Folk did. And the sex scenes need to be racier and steamier. I think I speak for all my sisters watching the show when I say that we would like to "see" more of Jennifer Beals. We see alot of Laurel Holloman but seeing her and Jennifer Beals will be a treat beyond belief. I realize it may not happen due to Jennifer Beals being pregnant but hey they can show her from the waist up!!
They should make me a writer for the show. Id show them a thing or two.

I've just spent the afternoon reading S3 spoilers from different websites....and I really wish I hadn't. First of all the following clip was posted from Variiety mag.
"Meanwhile, the Pierson-directed 2006 seg of the third season of "The L Word" for exec producer Ilene Chaiken deals with transformation (transition) of one of the femme characters who goes back to men, as well as lesbian medical issues, superstitions, monogamy and infidelity."
The above led to numerous opinions about whether it was Tina, Jenny or Alice that went back to men. Just when I was convinced that it wasn't Tina someone went and posted a scanned script that shows dialogue and a kiss between Tina and a character called Henry, who seems to be some sort of childrens swimming instructor. Within the same scanned script is reference to Bette being in a monastary talking to a monk whilst scrubbing floors. Apparently the script is from episode 9.
Re the medical issues that was some talk of Kit facing a medical problem but recent spoilers seems to be around a cancer story involving Dana. Whilst some readers speculate that it must be Dana who dies, someone has 'confirmed' that it is Dana's mother who dies and refers readers to Erin's own website and a recent Q&A article.
I really regret reading all this as I'm gutted about Tina's intended dalliance with Henry......and God only knows what has happened to Bette! I know that JB has gone on maternity leave, but her character in a monastary seems a bit OTT. I just hope Tina's temptation is a diversion storyline whilst Jennifer is on maternity leave and love prevails afterall when Bette returns from her period of spritual enlightenment!

Allegedly a Variety magazine newsclip includes a quote from Ilene Chaiken that refers to a femme character going back to men plus a number of other issues...none of which mention a character by name....all very mysterious.
Then in the above boards someone has attached a scanned version of part of a script of episode 9....allegedly! Within the dialogue it can quite clearly be interpreted as Tina who is struggling with her feelings for a guy called Henry. Then to top that there a scene with Bette in a Monastery.
Hope this explains it a bit better....but I hope it is all bulls..t!
