LGBTs against same-sex marriage? Research help.

I just started a English class for the block semester and we have to write a 8-10 page research paper.  I was reading one of the "gay" books in my library and it said that some gays (used as umbrella term) don't want same-sex marriage.  This surprised me, so when it was time to come up with a research topic I chose this - or something that will have to do with this.  I'm not stuck with this subject, but I'd really like to do it - we are supposed to do something that interests us, and this definitely interests me.  The problem is that it's almost impossible to research.  Just try googling "gays against gay marriage" (or similar terms) and you'll come up with millions of hits but nothing really of use to what I'm wanting to do.  I wonder how much actual research has happened on this topic, or if it's just being completely covered by everything else.

So, I was wondering if any of you had any ideas of how to overcome this obsticle so I could write this paper and not of to change subjects?  Or do you maybe have other gay based research ideas?  I pretty much just want something gay related, and have come up with other ideas, but they also seemed hard to research.

Seems how I've started this topic... Are any of you against same-sex marriage?  Why?  What do you feel is the ratio of gays pro/against with the people that you know or the area that you're in?  What area do you live in (if you don't mind answering)?  And, do any of you have a source that you could maybe point me to to research this?
