After watching She Said What, I thought it would be a good topic! I didn't see it anywhere else, so hopefully I'm not repeating anything. But anyway mine was the Spice Girls when I was 11.
Ricky Martin's former band (yeah, that was a long time ago...), and I was about 10. I remember feeling sooo grown up. Were the 80's trashy or what?... lol
cuz it was probably something totally dorky as all hell when I was a kiddo but the firrst real concert that i WANTED to go to with my friends was a perfect circle when I was like 14...it was rad
i never really went to many concerts cuz i've always been poor but after highschool, i thnk it was coachella that started it, last year, i started seeing bands almost like twice a month...its been a while now...but over the past year i've been to soooo many showsl...its one of my fave things to do

"Valentine's Day's coming? Aw crap! I forgot to get a girlfriend again!"- Fry
was this all day event that had My Chemical Romance, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Skindred, Lit and all these other bands that I was totally in love with at the time, but I just can't remember them all..
BUT, my FAVORITE concert would have to be the Mindless Self Indulgence show where Retard-O-Bot opened for them. I freaking LOOOOVE both of them and it was my first "hardcore" (more on the metal side of things) concert. It was amazing. I moshed like nobodies business and had the bruises to show for it!
My first concert was a few years ago when Sarah McLachlan was on her Afterglow tour. It rocked because I had pretty awesome seats. Saw her again in concert the following year then this past year I went to see Evanescence and I got to meet the band! So Sarah was my first, but Ev was the best! :)
Mine was Evanescence, Seether, Breaking Benjamin, and Three Day Grace a few years ago. Last year I saw Dep Leppard and Journey. Didnt know who they were at the time. And last night I saw Finger Eleven, Chevelle and of couse Evanescence again.
I saw The Who about 10 years ago when they did their Quadrophenia tour. Ringo's son Zac played the drums and Billy Idol made a guest appearance. Very rock'n'roll.
In like 4 or 5 weeks ago? I forgot the exact time. After I got home from work, we went straight to the concert, drove for 1.5 hours from Granby to Denver. The concert started at 7 pm but we left at 6.45...and we couldn't find a parking spot there...yeah I know..it took a lot of time and effort, but it was pretty cool..."a badass concert" -quoted from my friend.
"You and I wear the dangerous looseness of doom and find it becoming. Life, for eternal us, is now and now is much to busy being a little more than everything to seem anything, catastrophic included.."
My friend and I went to Green Day's American Idiot concert in Melbourne about 2 years ago. Good times... :P It was my first concert ever and I haven't been to a better one since!
Some obscure south-american band in a local bar. I was around fifteen, young and flirty, started dancing in the front row and the saxophonist (does that word exist?) ended up trying to chat me up, despite the fact everyone knew he had a girlfriend. Some time later I actually managed to hitch up with his girlfriend, a fantastic experience I'm sure he wasn't counting on! So my first concert brings back quite a few memories ;)
My best concert ever has to be Metallica at Earl's Court. The worst, Smashing Pumpkins in Zaragoza, what a disappointment!
Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the forces of evil... prayer, fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom, no one seemed to have thought about the double-barrel shotgun. Terry Pratchett.
I did not go to a concert until I was 20...and it was Clay Aiken. YUCK! I was forced lol. My gfs mom loves him. After that, Meilssa and Heart is all I have been to.
It wasnt exactly a concert it was at JC Fandango in Anaheim. It was the best SKA show ever. I was kicked in the face and got a purple eye and some one graved my ass like fifty thousand times, but didnt know who it was. BUT it was fucken awesome.
I nearly got to see Bowie... had the tickets for Santiago a few years ago. Unfortunately he had to cancel at the last minute (some emergency to do with his heart, I seem to recall), and Lou Reed wasn't a good enough substitute for me! I was so excited about seeing Bowie...

I was like 8 and opening for him was rui veloso... portuguese guy, im portuguese. my sister took me, i thought i was sooo cool! slept through all of brian adams' part!
the first one i went to that i chose was the offspring on their americana tour. Loved it back then!
best concert i've been to - nouvelle vague in london, or maybe guano apes at sudoeste - was sooo in love with sandra nasic!
I once grabbed the moon, but it was just a reflection!
She had an amazing voice! I have not heard anyone do what she was able to do!
And that concert that i was talking about was at a festival, and we had just kicked OASIS out of stage for being idiots (they asked on the speakers that if we wanted the band back we should scream for them... we screamed for guano apes!)
Anyway the apes come on and they play all their songs! it was 2 hours long - last night of that festival - and at the end they get this portuguese flag place it on the centre of the stage and they all come around it and like bow to it and to then us - we are all in fan heaven!! Specially when a couple of months later the new video is released and it's 4 minutes of the concert and portuguese flags flying everywhere. so much so that it was only on for a week and then MTV asked that they do a less portuguese version... anyway memory lane over! Just wanted to share :-)
I once grabbed the moon, but it was just a reflection!
I liked Guano Apes too and after they split up she did make one album (as I know), but hit wasn't so successful, I remember one song that she make with ice-T and DJ Tomekk it's awesome song....named '' Beat of life''
Okay, I'm not THAT old. It was the 20th or 25th Anniversary Tour in the mid/late 80's. I blame Nickoloden for my childhood obsession with the TV show and Davy Jones.
I've been to a lot of concerts that I couldn't remember them all. Highlight was Sting from the front row. He blew a kiss at me. :D
I'm old too. My first concert must have been late 70's. Some friends of my parents took me to an ABBA concert when I was 11 years old or so. I only remember lots of people, loud music and some miniature people on a stage far away (we didn't have very good seats). I do however remember feeling very cool. I was the only one in my class going.
My first concert was 5ive when i was onlt about 11 - they were fab XD i almost got to touch Js shoe =P
...sad thing is..i still love them now xD

Nana Mouskouri when I was 14,followed by 10,000 Maniacs,Tori Amos,Metallica,Ani DiFranco... ~ It's All Fun and Games 'Til Somebody Gets Burned at the Stake! ~
The first concert I went to was in 1977 when I was 15 and we went to see Eric Clapton. It was a rather infamous affair as an audience member hurled a beer bottle at Mr. Slowhand which hit him in the head. He stalked off the stage and that was that and he didn't come back to Pittsburgh for decades after that.
Westlife, i didn't like them but my aunt got the band wrong and thought i did, in fact i liked Blue at the time, but i went along to the concert and have been hooked ever since! I have since attended 5 more Westlife concerts and can't wait til i go again!
Mine was a couple years ago. Saw the Red Chord and Between the Buried and Me in Kansas City, MO. That show was so badass.. I had bruises all over from my knees hitting the front of the stage and getting kicked in the moshpit.
Los Menudos...=D
