sum research help needed please!

Hey im a 2nd yr film and media student and i am about to begin my dissertation for my third year. My preposed idea is 'To look at the ideology and themes within the American television drama ‘The L Word’ also concentrating on character Shane, and why both British and American audiences relate to her and the situations she finds herself in.' I was hoping that maybe i could get some feedback from readers that would help me with the research aspect of my project. Any imput at all would be greatly apreciated. thank u!!!!
