Platonic Marriage

This is an old article but I thought it was interesting. Basically it's about a woman’s modern “Boston marriage”. As I read it I wondered if these women would be considered to be bisexual. I know that I’ve met women who fit these criteria and considered themselves bisexual. Also would anyone actually consider involving themselves in this kind of relationship as an alternative to romantic fulfillment?
