Movies in Castilian(Spanish). Pelis en castellano.Since I see the incessant search for lesbian themed movies leads everyone into foreign territories, I thought I might suggest a couple films in castilian and open up this space for other users to do so as well. NOTE : For those of you who are not very familiar with spanish-spaking culture, I will use the word CASTILIAN when refering to the language(aka spanish) to avoid confusion when refering to SPANISH films (movies produced in the country of Spain). I´m not to sure if this interests anyone so I will keep it short, but if anyone is interested I can post a full list by countries with short reviews. For now I´ll just list one upcoming film, 3 films made in the last couple of years, and an older one made probably about 10 years ago. All these films are mainstream and have at least one lesbian character and/or lovestory within the main plot. Bueno en vista de que la busqueda de pelis con temas lesbicos nos llevan a todo tipo de territorios inexplorados, abro este espacio para que hagamos sugerencias y comntarios de pelis en castellano. No se que tanto interes tenga este tema y por lo pronto lo dejo asi cortito, con 5 pelis españolas de cine comercial. Una a punto de estrenarse, 3 producidas en los ultimos años y una mas viejita. Todas cuentan con un personaje o historia de amor lesbica en la trama principal. Bueno, si alguien le interesa el tema, estoy dispuesta a poner una lista completa por paises de habla hispana con reseñas breves, asi que haganmelo saber. Hey, you are right, it is GAZON MAUDIT. I couldn't remember if it was a french or spanish film, I watched it a million years ago with my cousins hiding from our parents, hehe. All I could remember was Victoria Abril and Miguel Bose.
As for TABU, I've only seen the trailer in theatres and I can't seem to find it on the internet. Anyway, I'm off on vacation tomorrow but by the time I get back it will probably be showing here in Madrid and I'll find out more about it.

Bueno, aun que estuve en mx. hace nada no me dio tiempo a verla... a parte me han comentado que es bastante terrible la peli, pero en fin, el tema, que encima lo he propuesto yo, son pelis en castellano con toques de lenchez. Asi que:

Me encanta Los dos lados de la cama
Well, I haven't really seen the full movie but only fast-forwarded to Raquel and Marta's scenes. Wow, they look so sexy and sweet together. Ha, funny that scruffy guy Pedro was gentle in bed while Marta, as cute as a button, was rough "boom boom bang bang", according to Raquel :)

Why the hell did Raquel go back to Pedro? She even looked uncomfortable around him, let alone loving him. If she loved him, why did she leave him in the first place? She probably felt confused about her feelings for Pedro and Marta. Poor Marta, she was so in love with Raquel :'(
Note: Spanish lesbians are ridiculously gorgeous and hot. L-word ladies, be aware!

yo no he oido aun de alguna pelicula con tematica lesbica (asi exclusivamente) q haya salido, y no me sorprende, pues poco se habla de este tema. No se si alguien vio una qse llama "Niñas Mal" con Martha Higareda, y entre las chicas q van a la Academa hay una que es mandada ahi porque su madre la encontro con su novia... ya se imaginaran xD y aunque tien poquitas escenas, si hay un besito por ahi q vale la pena ver.
I highly recommend this movie called "Niñas Mal" in which a lesbian girl appears (very little, but still...) and there's even a kiss!! (a little one, but then again...) even though the girl is just a supporting character it really send a message of tolerance and acceptance. And, the movie is really funny lol
