Sarah and Veronica: lesbian couple in Italian Big Brother

Hi there,

I just want to let you know that in the Italian Big Brother there is some lesbian stuff going on.
Two of the participants, Sarah and Veronica, are acting as if they were "in love". They practically came out as a couple with one of the other participants who speaks Spanish and they start questioning whether or not to live the thing more openly. In any case all the other participants have realized that something is going on and they are just not asking them about it for now. From what the girls say I get the impression that they are both very attracted to each other but at the same time they don't think they are lesbians. They both say: "I know I an straight but I happen to have these feelings for certain women bla bla". Sarah (the blonde) appears to be more afraid than Veronica about the consequences of their relationship on TV. Veronica is definitely more open to make it public and says she has nothing to lose.

Dear… this is that it pushing us to write these lines is not the pure sympathy for a “personage” rather than an other, it is not the simple “being a fan” of someone neither the fury overed-measure towards something but… it goes BEYOND. Who writes, obviously, feels of being able to say his own like SPECTATORS ATTENTION of this reality. Who has constantly followed the live on mediaset premium 24 h on 24, has not been able to make less than to notice, before, and to follow step after step then, the history between Sarah and Veronica. A history, perhaps, truly unexpected, not previewed and, for sure backs, difficult to manage and to control. To the two they have lived it protagonists beyond every script, pushed from the great passion and the true feeling that it has joined to them: the Love. To their we have seen it history to be born day for day from small confidenze, from simple looks and gestures, from smiles, attentions, confirmations, declarations, jealousies… all this have arrived to us and have literally broke the video introducing itself like something large and only. Theirs many converse to two, theirs to be attempted, theirs to suffer the “game”, their involvement, theirs want to exit in order to live themselves outside… all have been looked at, all us it has tenderly and magically touched. The feelings are something that move, touch and arrive, when they are real. This history has been told in the web but never it has not arrived really, in its form total, tv and therefore to all the Italians. Some confessional ones, some images, are appeared single on the web and never passed in the daytime, never passed in first evening, a group is organized in order to follow them 24h on 24 and to this group it is escaped nothing and it is ready to tell it still over a long time span, because a reality or such it must arrive to the heart of the persons and Sarah and Veronica, if told thus as have been really, would arrive like the greatest history than true feeling been born in a reality Italian. In the web persons of every nationality have met themselves, the history of Sarah and Veronica has been seen in important States like Spain and the United States in primis, but not only. If this history has thus arrived a lot to outside of Italian walls we would have to ask ourselfs because. They are not few people that were following this program, for the first time, thanks to the emotions that were transparent from this relationship between these two, more and more, was felt TRUE. We are sure that who has following effectively the program and the history, couldnt say that he/she hadnt been hit by this special relationship. Alessia Marcuzzi shortly before she announced the name of the eliminated one between Veronica and Mauro has said “… has given a bag to us of emotions and, to me, particularly of it they have given many to me” and, we, with a little about presumption, we think very well know who and, above all, to who she referred. Unfortunately during the entire program, for reasons that we can more or less intuire, also we have assisted to censorships on the argument, to made cuts ad hoc, presentations of history and facts that not always were the truth we can say that because we followed it also during the night. A lot and too much the difference of that it was assisted on the live from that it came introduced in the several programs connected to the Gf, in daytime or inside of the same nose-dive of the monday evening, regarding this history. Too much importance has been date to clearly friendly relationships or, also, of great affection regarding that date to the existing relationship between the two. This, also after a “choice” that nothing more she had to explain us. A choice that it was made with heart, a choice that donates value to Veronica and it removes her from every easy judgment on she. She is anything but not an “easy girl” with the men or simply a “trasgressive” with the women. When fallen in love it has known to be always better. The Veronica of Sarah is, in fact, a special being… for all. To this “choice”, to our warning, it has not been given to the just weight and the just attention, if not fine a mediatic analysis to same, than it has not put in prominence the real value of that “choice”. We can understand dynamics of a program, can intuire the show requirements and for scripts but, now, we ask RESPECT and give the JUST LIGHT that deserves a relationship that a lot has given to us. These two girls deserve to live it and to introduce it thus as they want, thus as they have made, without necessary coming-out neither banalizations or reorganizations, that they are free to choose as to make it. Al devil every form of prejudgment and bigotry, before or second evening that is! We hope lively that in the nose-dive of next monday the “DREAM” can strike, once again, also for we.

hi... thanks for posting.... just one thing: i heard in some videos them talking in bed and apparently both of them had previous experiences with women, so i wonder why they are calling themselves straight :/ it kinda sucks, no? how are the viewers in italy taking the situation (since it's a catholic country, bla bla...) grazie ;)

Yesterday there was a new episode of the show and Sarah was about to be eliminated. (Video of her preparing her bag in case she had to go http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gldLUmkevTU In the video they also define what they feel for each other as "love") Fortunately she wasnt sent out and they kissed again in front of everyone. Later on the host asked them again about their relationship and all the other participants agreed to say that they are in love in the true meaning of the word. I donno what Italians think but the press has been very smooth on it so far and in the TV show nothing has been hidden or censored. And yes, they still don't question publicly their sexual orientation: they claim they like men too, so I guess they're acting on the bisexual thing. Truth is both of them say they can't explain how it happened. I guess it's just because they are on TV and don't want to make it too complicated.

Massimo is the rude guy who keeps telling Veronica to shut up. He's jealous because at first he liked Veronica and she didn't give a damn about him, then he was after Sarah but still nothing. So he was obviously very pissed at them. He hadn't realized they were together until he saw that video. Veronica contests him because he keeps saying that they're just playing a game. Daniele is a guy who liked Veronica but then nothing happened between them... just some kisses. But that was BeforeSarah.

You might want to watch this funny video that shows why Veronica is so pissed at Massimo: he kissed Sarah :) Veronica says she wasnt jealous of the kisses but mostly because Massimo tried to put his hands on Sarah's face. The way Veronica looks at Sarah while she is kissing Massimo is funny :)

i've just finished reading in web page of Grande fratello something about - Veronica doesn't wanna women..she says 'voglio una famiglia...con Sarah non potrebe nascere un amor..vuole un uomo..

 

i don't understand anymore..did she say it just to calm down everyone else..or maybe it is true..

As I told you Sarah was nominated and so she risked being sent out. This is a cute video recorded the morning of the elimination day where the girls share their worries about the night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iY8o030aJoc

And here is another video from yesterday recorded right before the elimination, during the live show: the host of the show asked them all to watch it because it shows the relationship between the girls and some participants realized they were not fully aware of the situation (especially the males, who are kinda disappointed) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COlNG7Qi50Y

I havent found yet the video showing she wasnt sent out. The ones I've just posted show some moments right before the sentence.

 To answer some of your questions: they are in love but have agreed not to explicitate it publicly. The only moment they "came out" was while talking with a Spanish participant (I linked the video in the first post): Sarah - who speaks Spanish - told him that they are together and they are a couple but prefer not to say that publicly. However they are not good at hiding it. And yes, they claim they want a family and so on but frankly whatever they say is immediately contradicted by their actions :D

Daniele is a guy who liked Veronica and she seemed to have a thing for him. However nothing happened between them. 

These two girls are very nice and sweet to each other. Sarah (the blonde) is more self controlled and poised while Veronica is a bit more cheesy and tender. Veronica has a good sense of humor and says a lot of funny things.

I think I've just found a good reason to watch Grande Fratello 10. Well, I know it is all made up to get attention and then I hate when they say "I love her but I want to have children", that is just so stupid, but since it is the only lesbian thing going on the Italian tv I prefer not to miss it.

I don't understand how they can say they are in a relationship, yet agree to not 'go public' as such, but then kiss each other infront of the other housemates, and, oh yeh, infront of the whole of Italy! o_0

 

Watched every video too, and its so confusing, because they both look like they have already kissed everyone else in the house anyway, and are both quite physical with the other male housemates.

 

It's confusing, yet without all the other videos outside their relationship, it looks really simple - they look like they are in love with each other.

I seem to be among the many who are watching this without understanding a word of Italian lol  .. I like them together I think they are very cute indeed.

I know it was mentioned that Sarah was up for eviction but did not leave. Which would explain the video altbigd posted... but then my question is.. what is this all about?

I still think their relationship is fake, and they are the worst actresses. It will problably end up with both of them "falling in love" with some man housemate.

I frankly donno what to think girls. Ya they just kissed once with tongue publicly and the rest of the times they give pecks. But they sleep together all nights and cover each other up. Who knows what they do down there :)

This video is funny though, especially because after the kiss Sarah says :"I'm all wet... I mean, my shirt is wet" and they burst out laughing :)

Probably it's a fake but they really are always together all the time and stick to each other every minute. They claim they are bisex, that's why they also had some affairs with boys in the BB house.

To answer the other question about why Sarah was writing the letter: the BB told her to write a letter to the most important person in the house in case she was evicted. She wrote it for Veronica (but I donno what she wrote in it).

i think Sarah is faling slowly in love..(the way she looks at V. whilw V. hugs Massimo,she looks so jealous..and think she's afraid of loseing Veronica )

 At the same time Veronica  likes Sarah,but not enough for something stronger..

i think it was exciting at the first time but now..

..hope Sarah doesn't get hurt! :(

I've been to Italy before and Italians seem affectionate; but, is this really how straight women interact with each other?

i agree with 'jackedup77'... i mean that video was way too touchy-feely for me lol... and if any girls kissed infront of a group of people it would be kinda uncomfortable.

maybe they are just an affectionate bunch of people, so are sarah and veronica sleeping in the same bed every night!?

 

and how long do we have until it ends? it seems to have been on for ages already... i wont hear much after they are out of the house, because i am getting my information off youtube :P

um.. yea.. that doesn't look like "cuddling"..that loks like foreplay lol

I guess this is the problem with trying to watch foreign television lol  Its bad enough to not understand a word ... but I am also very confused with the telelvision format in general, it is so so so different from the US version. They are swapping people in and out .. and then new people come in weeks later? Like apparently Sarah didn't even get into the house until day 43? .. also they never seem to have to compete or do any challenges .. I'm intrigued ...   very confused.. but very intrigued :)

and I must say.. that the Big Brother Italy house is way way way way nicer than any of the american big brother houses lol

I don't speak/understand a word of italian but I've pretty much watched all the vids posted on here and I'm loving them haha. We never get things like this on the UK Big Brother.

Because I don't understand a word they're saying I have no idea where they stand. Are they like a couple now or...? And who's the other girl getting touch feely with one of them? Is she a lesbian?

If all 'straight' girls in Italy act like this then I might have to go there on a vacation! xD

I guess Carmen is enjoying the attention that the two girls are getting and she wants to get closer to them so that she can take advantage of it too.  But that's my personal idea... and yes, Veronica said "what about all this cuddling??"
