Am I really Making This? Hair. =)So, I've become sick of my haircut and feel as though I need to move to something shorter. Again. For four years it's been getting shorter and shorter--from my waist to mid-neck--and it's finally time to get something completely off the neck. Unfortunately, I've never been able to find a stylist who can capture my personality in a haircut. Am I expecting you guys to? Course not. I would, however, love some ideas from the AE world. It's tough to surf the web for short female hair styles because they're all either extremely feminine (and I'm down the middle) or really trendy (which I'm not). Just trying to find something... that I can leave the way it is or moose/gel if the mood catches me. That's not too butch. =D Do you ladies have any women whose hair you like? Short hair yourself? ...Something else? Haha not really sure what I'm looking for, but it would be nice to be able to bring something to my stylist. Who wants to contribute to a person's hair? Short,Short Hairstyles
I just surfed the net on images,Jaime, how about these. again its just a suggestion
I actually looking at womyn w/ unique short hairstyles that is funky. You don't have to die it or anything. Make sure you know what the shape of your face is like these shapes. Find links what works best w/ your face then match a short hairstyle w/ your shape of your face. make sure your hairstylist knows and understands this concept. Ask for any previous samplings of their artistic hairstyle. I don't know you well enough if you want a conservative to wild hairstyle. I put up a variety to show you want you can do with short hair. A lot. Good Luck!

That's pretty important information, isn't it? Woops. I'm looking for something conservative, but it can definitely have an artsy/alternative edge to it. Just nothing too dramatic. Oval face shape, too. =)

I really like boyish (but far from butch) short hair.
Think Mia Farrow, Twiggy, Agyness Deyn, or Winona Ryder in Girl, Interrupted
Simple and nice, and never goes out of style :)
I also have short hair myself, but mine is like a failed attempt of copying the above lol
(my hair is not soft enough hmm)
how about
Pink's pixie crop? Model:agness deyn, or is a good choice or Freja Beha Erichsen , but of course, you need to identify with what kind of face shape you have, Generally, the heart-shape suits almost all hairstyles.

Really liking the ideas, guys. The help is much appreciated. I'll post a picture or something when it's all said and done, but in the mean time, anyone who's interested is free to contribute to the brainstorm.
