Identity: an exhibition
Identity is a topic much discussed around the forum, so I thought the following might be of interest.
If you're in London between 26th November and 6th April, check out the new exhibition at Wellcome Collection 'Identity: eight rooms, nine lives' which features a good bit of LGBT visibility. One of the rooms focuses on lesbian, Jewish artist Claude Cahun (1894 - 1954) and another on April Ashley (b. 1935), one of the first MTFs in the UK. There's also a series of events accompanying the exhibition and a specially commissioned play written by Billy Bragg following in April.
The exhibition and all the events are free, so pop in and say hi. I work there, so please excuse the blatant advertising :o)
