THE CLIKS!

The Cliks are a canadian rock band from Toronto, led by transman Lucas Silveira. check them out if you haven't! they are great. I'm sad i missed them at Toronto Dyke March this year :( check out their tunes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhdsBnBCXSA

 

 

"lead singer, Lucas Silveira. When the band was first formed he was a she — Lillia Silveira, who fronted an all-female band. But the musician has since transitioned into a male, making him the first transgender lead singer to be signed to a major label with the album, Snakehouse."

they sound amazing on the record and even better live.  the cliks  put on a billiant show in ottawa last month.  plus they we all super nice and down to earth!

I had never heard of them when I first saw them live in 2007 at the True Colors Tour, but I immediately fell in love with their music. I bought Snakehouse and listen to it alll the time. The Cliks are so amazing. :D
