I'd go with Ellen because I don't know enough about Portia (aside from her looks, which don't actually bowl me over). Ellen is cute, funny, and seeing her looking all home-like in If These Walls Could Talk 2 makes me wonder if that's how she really is. I'm a PJ bottoms and t-shirt kinda gal, so I think we'd get along.

Then again, there would be a major age gap if I dated Ellen - she's only five years younger than my mom!

You can't beat Ellen.  You'd never be bored with her and she's smart and funny and successful and loving...she's pretty much amazing.  Portia?  Can't get a good read of an actual personality, and she's quite thin.  Have you seen her lately?  Props to her for talking out about her previous eating disorder but there's still not a whole lot to work with, if you know what i mean.

The only reason I watched Ally McBeal for years was because of Portia De Rossi was on it. From the first glance. I was fascinated by Portia's icy beauty, wit, smarts, and sexiness. Needless to say, I was happily stunned and suprised to find out a few years ago that Portia is a bona fide lesbian. Portia is the first 'celebrity' that I've been attracted to who is actually gay in real life.  I'd take Portia anytime, anywhere!  On top of that Portia is very smart in real life (she was studying to be a lawyer before turning to acting). I also thing she's sexy as hell, and very funny. What's not to love??!!  As for Ellen, she's cute but not my type.

Too dificult, everything I've read suggests that Portia is just as funny, quirky, quick witted and charming as Ellen, and let's face it a HOTTIE not to let Ellen down, as she definitely has her charm...

I must be the only earth-bound being who just doesn't see what all the fuss is about when it comes to Portia.  She always comes across as rather glacial. 

Without question, Ellen.  She's smart, funny, caring, gentle and isn't afraid to be silly.  She gets such glee out of things it is infectious.  Just the type of person who would be a joy to have as part of your life. 

i've always had a thing for ellen. can't go wrong with those big blue eyes... and she just seems so down-to-earth. wacky, sure.. but somebody you could sit on the couch with, just eating lucky charms out of the box. now, that is sexy.

I remember I was thrilled to know Portia de Rossi was gay when the pics with her ex g/f came out. Then, when she got with Ellen, I didn't know what to think... i mainly didn't care about it that much. Because I didn't really know Ellen (except from name), and found her quite too old (for me, from my age point of view) and not my kind of girls. But in the past weeks, I've watched some Ellen videos and she is so funny. I seriously love her humor, and now I love their couple!! They are like this powerful couple, and they look really cute and adorable together. the kind of couple i'd look up to.

Okay, this being said, I definitely choose Portia cause she is stunning, and Ellen is a lot older than me, and still not my type. But well, they make such a great couple!

I would honestly have to say, Ellen. Don't get me wrong, Portia is stunningly gorgeous, but Ellen is funny, sweet, and just a great person. She may be much older, but she's has a youthful personality. I would love to date someone that could have me rolling on the floor in laughter all day.

Just add her sweetness, good heart, love for animals and real state, and that's what i call a soulmate!

Not only is Portia De Rossi far lovelier - she's (much) funnier. As witness Arrested Developmnent. I'm sure Ms. Degeneris is a fine person, and she was brave, I guess, to come out when she did ( not like firefighter brave, and it didn't actually hurt even her career, really, but still...). But she's hardly a beauty, or very interesting or challenging, even in her comedy. She's - nice. But for me there's nothing very sexy about nice.  Ms Degeneris is more like the classic fifties movie "best friend" Barbara Bel Geddis to Ms. De Rossi's Kim Novak - except that as I said, I also find Ms. De Rossi far funnier and a much better performer. I suppose the least attractive thing about a Portia De Rossi fantasy for me is that Ms. Degeneris is her type - so I could never be.

But for me at least, it isn't even close to close.

Definitely Ellen - I've had a thing for her for ages... even though she is older than my parents so that's a little weird I guess. Not that I really care about age. Anyway... definitely Ellen because when she's on television you can't take your eyes off her.

Because I used to LOVE the old Ellen. Like who didn't sell out to do a Daytime Talk Show.

And Portia because Nell was jiggy. Wif it. LMAO
