What is the first thing that pops to mind when you think of your name?

or should i say what do you asscociate with your name?

i find it interesting how much personality a name holds. when you think about it a name molds and individual in a certain manner. strong names seem to hold strong personalities, while weak names seem to hold not so strong individuals. so when begining families, parents take great care in the decision of what to name a child. Even the sound of names spoken aloud leave an imprint in a persons mind of the character of a person (ex: wesley, gretchen)

i think of a very studious individual for wesley, and for gretchen i imagine a pippy longstockings like girl though maybe a bit plumper. 

I've always wondered what people think of their names,  And so i asked a few of my friends and family what they thought of theirs and what they thought of mine. Then i told them what i think of when i think of my name. (which is brandi) just to find out what their ideas were, they all answered similar to me. (but maybe thats just us)

Okay so when i think of my name the first image or idea that i have is one of a stripper. why i've always thought that i have no clue, maybe cause it sounds so close to candy (and that name just screams dance for me) ;P or maybe because everytime i hear the name brandi i think of a very extroverted party girl.

i just am curious to see what everyone else thinks, and what they associate with their names. 

by the way i love my name, im not a stripper, though i do party on special occasions ;P
