Kittens, and Lesbians, Cats and Lesbians

Any lesbians in Southern California looking to adopt cats or kittens?

My mom passed away recently leaving me with a house full of cats and kittens that my aunt was going to simply put on the street.  I have taken them in, but I have to move soon.

The kittens are just seven weeks old.  The cats range in age from 1-2.  Even if you'd be willing to foster until I can find a permanent home for the kitten or cat...that would be great!

All of the cats are some variation of Siamese, which means they are extremely people loving, and social cats.

I love cats...

But I don't live in California. I recommend putting an ad out on Craiglist, and also tell all of your friends that you have some cats in need of a home. But be careful, there are a lot of crazies out there that look for people giving away pets.

This is really silly

This is really silly, because I can't remember what these places are called!!?! But you can take animals to them when (for whatever reason) taking care of them isn't really an option, and these places will house and feed them while they wait for someone to come and show an interest in being their new owner. Maybe they're called animal shelters, altho that term is prob just used for strays which are found on the streets. But yeah, you get what I mean right!? Like pet stores, but for animals that have had previous homes and owners.

Thanks for the advice! I

Thanks for the advice! I posted on CL, but have not yet had any responses.

I have been trying to spread the word, even coming here to post the availability of the kittens as I agree--spreading the word is the way to go.

I called a bunch of animal shelters, but they're all overcrowded because of the economy.  People just dump animals apparently because they can't afford the $25 a month it costs to keep them.  Like just bring your lunch to work.  OR cancel cable.  Or donate blood plasma.  It's ridiculous really.

Anyhow, that's my rant.  Thank both of you for your advice!!
