a) her relationship story-line with Henry is just boring (does the guy even exist anymore? We last saw him hiding in the bushes :s)
b) She's just become the scapegoat for everything because she's "straight"
c) She's become a sleazy hollywood producer.
d) She and Bette can't even talk civilly to each other because Bette, despite her intelligence, is stuck on b) even though they have a child together.
If they're not going to be together (which frankly at this point would just be weird), can they at least get along and have Tina as part of the group again? Cause otherwise, why is she even on the show anymore? :s
Tina's new paramour a bit of a wimp? In the context of relationship dynamics, Bette had a more commanding presence than this Henry guy could even wish for, as did Helena, Tina's other love interest. Maybe Tina just wants to wear the trousers for a while!
I liked Tina in the first and second season, a perfect foil to Bette's character, which is why i suppose that everyone was so gutted when they split. I would also like for them to get back together, sometimes the romantics side of me wins out against the cynical!
Would ;ove to see the old Helena back too - she went from confident alpha go getter, to Miss I'm-so-Nice, and finally to what we are seeing on our screens now - a headless chicken!

i think, unlike with tina, bette is forced to take the time to choose her words carefully with jodi because of the sign language thing. she can't just burst out any time she wants to. she has to face and look at jodi every time she wants to say something. which is good because jodi seems to take her breath away. despite their differences when it comes to monogamy, there's a lot of compassion and tenderness in the way that they talk. it just works! somebody please tell Ilene not to screw this storyline up!
I wonder why Tina is still on the show, too. Her role is so diminished now and the character has become pretty boring, IMHO. If this keeps up, I wouldn't be surprised if Laurel Holloman left the cast next year - provided there is a next year.

i like marlee matlin as an actress, i think she is amazing and very pretty. her character jodi seems very cool, deaf and mute artist, very heavy for me, i mean imagine all the emotions that kind of person have and can have?!
for me, bette and jodi's thing is very exciting, coz it shows us a different side of dean porter, we've seen her in control, saw her loose some of that control during the time her relationship with tina was going downhill, and she was loosing her job and her dad.
now we are seeing another dimension of her character. with jodi, she tends to be speechless and unsure of the situation, of herself. its very refreshing.
but at the end of it all, i think i still want bette and tina to get back together, its the idealist in me, i mean, they were what? 8yrs together? they had angelica together. they were great before all those hassles happened, imagine how they can be if they get back together?! and besides, jodi and bette have too much in common, unlike with tina, they compliment each other.
