It gave me a good laugh this morning, this ad is all sorts of wrong =P.

All married gay couples should be simply ashamed - infringing on the rights of everyday straight people like that. Your mere existance is ruining their lives!

 How can people believe this crap??

That was bizarre.  Same sex marriage takes away the freedom of others?  What have they putting in their coffee?  I checked out their website and this organization is only concerned about same sex marriage as a threat to heterosexual marriage.  What about divorce?  What about domestic violence?  What about adultery?  No!  Same sex marriage alone has the power to completely destroy the marriages of heterosexuals and their families.  They do have some interesting political connections to the previous Administration's Civil Rights Council.

And that's all the attention I'm giving it.

I should be angry at those people but I simply can't because they made me laugh so hard! But the comments are great, really supportive and some even funnier than the ad. It fits in perfectly w/ the PSA Portia made. The storm in the background...hahaha, could also be from a really crappy horror movie...

If schools really taught that gay-marriage is okay (0:31), there would be a lot less homophobia. And they don't even explain HOW their lives are touched by the issue, they just say that they are...

i just watched that video and was left confused.. i can't fathom people really feeling that way, it blows my mind. I looked at their website and was so disgusted. they provide answers to 'tough questions' for people who support their cause. All of their answers are ridiculous and completely illogical.

What's funny is that they had to use actors (check out the auditions). Is it weird that I sort of pity the people who auditioned? I mean, the whole idea of auditioning for an ad that promotes such ass-backward ideas is just sad. I wonder if the actors agreed with the sentiment, or if they just really needed the money.

That was, ummm.... stupid. I was slightly amused actually. Haha, oh well, people will believe what they want to believe. Oh Jesus Christ, when the woman said, "My son is being taught that gay marriage is ok at school", BLAH!!! He can believe whatever he wants to believe in, whether it be the school, his mother, or what he sees as right and wrong for his self. But anyway, most of the comments were pro-gay marriage anyway, so it must not be affecting people that much. =)

This ad just made me laugh. so here is my translation.

1. A storm is gathering- of happy couples who wish to get married
2. And I am afraid- that my prejudices will no longer be the norm
3. They want to bring the issue into my life- I will have to accept a welcome to the neighborhood pie from the gay couple down the street.
4. My freedom will be taken away- to deny 1 group emotional, social, and financial security.
5. I'm a Californian Doctor- who doesn't like to help social outcast because Jesus would look down on that.
6. I am apart of a church group in New Jersey that will be punished by the government for disagreing with same-sex marriages- straight paranoia ( pardon the pun)
7. I am Mass. Parent unable to stop her school- from teaching tolerance and equality
8. Advocates of gay marriage are not content with couples living there life as they wish- how dare they ask for protection against job discrimination, violence, and stuff like that

9. Those who advocate for same sex-marriage want to change my life- by forcing me to marry a lesbian
10. I will have no choice- but to accept that I was wrong
11. But there is hope...- That all the people will come together to destroy the hopes and dreams of one group because of a couple lines in 1 book. The book is about love and that why we must destroy love for people we don't like.
