FtM meetings in NYC area?

Hi,

I am a 19 yr old college student majoring in English (Creative Writing) with minors in Critical Sexualities and Education at Rutgers University in NJ. I am currently working on a research paper, and I am hoping to find an opportunity to submerse myself in the topic even further.

Right now, I am a member of my university's Gender Identity Taskforce, Queer Caucus, and Bi, Lesbian, and Gay Alliance. I have a few friends who are trans-identified, and I am working on bringing a screening/ Q&A session of the film 'Boy I Am' to my school, so I am no stranger to trans issues. However, I feel that in order to properly write my paper, I need to see the view points of individuals other than my friends, who are younger and have not really experienced the topic I am trying to discuss in my paper. I want to discuss whether or not members of the lesbian community discriminate against FtMs and their partners in the same way that some heterosexuals discriminate against the homosexual community.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out by suggesting any FtM support groups or gatherings that might be welcome to the idea of me attending one of their meetings, as well as giving me their perspectives on my topic. I am in central NJ, but I have no means of transit other than train, so ideally, I am looking for someplace in the NYC area.
