I didn't know exactly where to put this thread, but I just discovered a neat site ([url]http://www.newsmeat.com/celebrity_political_donations/[/url]) that lists political contributions made by celebrities. Not sure how accurate or inclusive it is, but it certainly held some interesting information.

Lesbian-wise: Kudos to Rosie O'D for making a buttload of contributions to the Democratic party over the years while Ellen cashes in at a measly $3000.

Surprises: 100% of Prince's contributions went to the GOP, whereas more than half of Donald Trump's went to the Democratic party. Who knew?

Not surprising: Most country music singers go 100% Republican.

Disappointing for me: Michael Dell, Austin computer mogul and maker of my computer is a Republican supporter, and childhood crush (if "childhood" extends into one's mid-30s) and "Remington Steele" star Stephanie Zimbalist has followed in the footsteps of her conservative, fundamentalist Christian father and gone 100% Repub.
