Im in the UK as well.... but the live blogging isnt much use to us surely.. since we can't actually watch the episode until someone uploads it afterwards.

The worst  ending ever, it suck so bad I will never get that hour back, they left so many unanswer questions and the story line was all out of wack and all the character story line was not done right for the ending of the show, that is why it suck

i liked the episode but when there was like 20mins left i was thinking, they better hurry up with the storyline. now im annoyed how it ended.

I got teary eyed at the end.

And I felt sorry for Jenny.  I dont think she was the monster they saw her as.  Her comment about her friends not wanting to be around her was very sad and telling.

Helena really shouldnt have blamed Jenny b/c Dylan knew.

And I'm so happy Tasha came back for Alice. 

And Jenny's present to Bette and Tina was great, absolutely wonderful and it was sad she didnt get to see their reactions after all the work she put into it.

And Nikki still needs to learn to shut the hell up.

 Although you know, even though Alice takes the fall, Bette could have killed her.  Thelast time we se Jenny, she's talking to Bette near the taped edge.

 

I'll be watchin the webisodes.

we have waited 6 years for that ending,  is everyone just suppose to write there own ending?  

What a horrible ending to the series. It feels like such a sellout for Chaiken's next endeavor, "The Farm." Are you serious? That series looks awful. Why couldn't the creators come up with something new and creative with Alice Piezecki? Did they really need to create L Word 1.5 and try to give their new series some sort of credibility by using L Word's powerful machine?

You can tell that the Showtime Execs feel the same way having it start off as a web series rather than giving it full on series status. 

What a big miss. I will be watching "The Farm" only for curiosity's sake and because of Leisha Hailey. 

The pace of the entire episode was so up and down that I couldn't follow what the helll was going on.  I understand IC tried to lead us into thinking that someone murdered Jenny, but really, her suicide was predictable.  We're not stupid.

The episode itself was terrible, but the ending was even worse.  Those glam shots!!! WTF?  Chaiken should've just left it with the shot of Jenny's final words in the farewell video to Bette and Tina.  Wrap it up nice and simple, but nope, everything has to be complicatedly overdone.  They did the same thing with season 3's finale with the goodbye to Dana and those waterfalls and shit.

So frustrating!

When I saw that ending. I said WTF

Then I told my friend who doesn't watch the show there are going to be alot of "WTF" on AE tonight and tomorrow maybe a weeks worth.

Again WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I'm disappointed but I can't say I'm suprised. I wonder if they're going to go through with making The Farm. Does anyone know? And what's the deal with the webisodes?

I don't know about the  " Farm" but I can't see how Alice gets blamed for Jenny's supposed "death".  I'm not even 100% convinced that Jenny is dead!

But if she is, it's obvious that  Nikki is responsible.  How stupid are the police to convict Alice over shady-girl-who-shows-up-to-party-uninvited-and-is-hiding-in-the-bushes-next-to-the-crime-scene-who-has-a-beef-with-Jenny-because-Jenny-broke-up-with-her-and-NO ONE-breaks-up-with-Nikki-Stevens-because-she-is-a-hot-celebrity?   Please, the whole night, Alice was like: I'm making up with Jenny, because I need friends, and friend are the most important thing in the world!!

I'm still sitting here saying WTF!??

I waited all week for THIS? That was one of the worst endings I've seen since the Sopranos! No loose ends tied up and too many questions left unanswered. 

Did anyone notice that when they were carting Jenny off on the gurney her face wasn't covered at all? They always cover someone's face when they've died (I'm a nurse and I know this!) So this leaves me wondering if she is really dead or did they  just make it appear like she was. 

What about the tapes? What about Max? What about Tina (does she know about the pic/video Jenny did?) What about Dylan? She had every reason to hate Jenny also. See what I mean? Too many loose ends left hanging for those of us who were dedicated fans  for the past 6 years. I feel cheated!!!

 

They need to make a movie to tie the loose ends up or do one last episode that would do just that. What a rip off to us fans. They took a great storyline and drew us all in just to sh*t on us at the end. I loved this show and looked forward to it every week and now I feel so let down.

Kinda like starting out with a night of intense sexual inuendo and you get to the bedroom and are engaged in foreplay with your partner and are on the brink of a fabulous orgasm and suddenly your partner says ok I'm done! See ya! and walks out of the house. That's what they did to us tonight. Not cool!

from what I have read not many people seem to have liked the final episode but I am fairly pleased...I mean I expected a lot worse...given I would have done a few things differently but I also wouldn't have kill off Dana...again thats just me....but overall I was expecting much worse....I am just going to "pretend" my own happy ending and hope that IF there is a movie that it doesn't suck as much as the Sex and the City movie did haha!

I hated it! My friend and I had to have cocktails to make it through. The mood of the episode was more like "The Usual Suspects" than "The L-Word".

After watching the show for six years and seeing all of these women transition from the places that they have, i am absolutely speechless. i have to say, the worst part about the episode was the very very end. all the women are walking up to the police station together and then they all are smiling. what the fuck is that? is that how i'm supposed to feel? after all of that, one little hour to basically paraphase the entire season, am i just supposed to smile it off as if its nothing. i love the L Word and i wish it didn't have to go out like this. Mama Chaiken,thank you and fuck you.

wow, i will really need to think this episode over. i feel so little closure, but i think the episode wasn't totally worthless.

i am actually ok with the fact that they didnt ever clarify whether max would end up giving his baby to bette and tina, like so many of us have been speculating all season, and like kit suggested this episode. i do think it will end up happening, but they'll all figure it out, regardless, and it will be ok. and btw, the shot of max bbq-ing with his huge belly was hilarious.

i was so suprised to see those negatives in jenny's attic, but i am SO glad that they didn't totally forget about that storyline like i though they did! i never bought that the producer guy stole them. i am even kind of glad jenny stole them-- it was her film, and they were going to ruin it! i wonder if tina will tell.... it wouldnt impact her job now that she's moving to new york... i wonder if the move is still on, too! especially with this murder investigation underway...

speaking of murder! bette is totally the most likely suspect. nicki is too dumb to commit murder. i dont really think bette could kill someone though, even though i would never, ever mess with her (or her family! jeez.)

however, i am practically positive that jenny killed herself. she knew how much everyone hated her-- she said so to kit. she told shane that she would die without her, and that she would leave everything to shane because she is her family-- this is def suicidal thinking. she has been off her rocker for a long time. mental and emotional stability were never jenny's strong points. jenny jumped! case closed.

i really wish there wasnt a stupid spin off. that really ruins my jenny jumped theory, and alice is the LEAST likely suspect. she kept saying all evening that she just wanted to make up with jenny!

i'm glad that alice and tasha are gonna stick it out. i'm very suprised that they have held on throughout all of this, and very proud and impressed! love!

The episode = suck.

The ending = SAD. 

The series = tiring.

I think that the women walkign to the police station, wehn they were smiling, was the showing of the women one last time.  It's starts off with them goign in for interrogation, then it segues into their final walk.  I loved when Jenny walked with Tina and Bette and Jenny smiled up at her.

And we know Jenny is dead b/c they showed her body in the season premiere, they just didnt go back through all that.

I'm still saying wtf?  maybe they are going to make a movie?  I mean, they left such a cliffhanger at the END of the series, how could u not expect a movie?  they left a wide opening for it and i wouldnt be surprised if they did.  i hope they make the farm, but i dunno, maybe its gonna be like that show Joey, the spinoff of friends and take a huge nose dive down the shiter.  regardless, i would still watch it for alice/leisha.

Dr. Horrible: The world is a mess and I just need to rule it.

 

When she said that, was anyone else hurting? I mean, I assumed after all the buttsprack this show's given us, I could pretty much take anything, but I admit that hurt. All I really wanted out of this last episode was to sh!t and giggle my way through the ending to a show conceived around Ilene Chaiken's Tiny Penis; I wasn't expecting - nor did I need - a Dana mention.

But, it never fails. The one time Dana's existence gets acknowledged this season, she ties with Tasha on Alice's Best-Of list for lovers. Um, what. I don't care how long Tasha's been on this show (and regardless of my appreciation for Rose Rollins and Tasha as a character), no way in hell has her relationship with Alice been comparable to the great love that Dana was. The lukewarm chemistry, the rape-eye storylines, the relegation of Alice to playing wet-noodle (almost) cheater and now reluctant matchmaker...none of them ever screamed Love!of!My!Life!Part!Two! to me.

Thanks for knifing me in the ass with your fan-wank, Ilene. Do you think Leisha Hailey suffered at all through that line?

- WTF was with Alice's shower reference to Tasha. How would she even know about that? How exactly is Helena not trusting Dylan jenny's fault. That is fucking ridiculous. She had her doubts before it's revealed that Dylan knew about the set up?

- The entire tone of this episode is so New Best Friend. Throughout this episode i kept thinking of Jenny as Hauntingly Beautiful, particularly when she is talking to kit about the Bette situation.

-I loved the scenes that emphasized the friendship in the group, particularly Alice and Shane just talking. Alice was hilarious with her ramblings on the phone and the whole powder room conversation too. Yeah for alice and Tasha back together.

-About 9 minutes into this episode when Bette first mentioned the loose railing i said to myself this is how Jenny dies. The question was supposed to be whether it was an accident or suicide. By the end of the episode I was trying to remember if Jenny  was actually found floating in the pool? God i need answers.

There were many promising things about this episode and if it had been just half an hour longer or given us some answers I would not be feeling so disappointed. I'm sad that the show is ending and i'm sad that THIS is how it ends. I'm not sure i've really come to terms with it yet but given some more time to reflect I don't know if i will learn to accept this ending or become more dissapointed. There were so many different ways to end this show, a show so many people have held dear and this ending wasn't about giving us closure. this was about IC and her own perverse motivations. This was not the ending we deserved.

I can't think of why anyone would 'wrap' this show up this way. What rubbish.

Obviously suicide though. Didn't anyone else catch where Jenny tells Shane she is leaving her all her stuff..? Sounds like enough proof to me.

No lies some stupid sh*t did happen in season 6 like the wonka party? WTF! but overall i enjoyed it..i knew it wasn't going to be the way everyone want it so i took everything lightly and just laughed at everything..nonetheless i still love the show and despite all of its horridness it has helped me and many others in many ways..

My favorite part was where bette and tina was sitting on the stairs after they got it on ;) and shane saw them sitting on the porch just like the first episode of the l word shane found them like that too i felt like it was a closure that them 2 were sticking together :)

And those who thought carmen was gonna get back with shane c'mon she screwed her over..

Someone explain to me when Kit decided Sonny/Sunset was cool, date-worthy, and all is forgiven??  Last week she huffing and puffing away, acting pissy and angry, with the world's largest air leak....and now they're lovey dovey and DATING!!?!?!?!?!??!?

 

Did ANYTHING is this episode get resolved??

 

Also, I saw a mention of this somewhere else on AE, Alice's treatment, a talk show host and a cop?  Alice just lost that gig and Tasha is thisclose to being a cop!  WTF?!?!!?
