Jennifer Aniston to Play a Lesbian on "Dirt"  Dirt will reunite two old Friends when Jennifer Aniston guest-stars on the March 27th season finale. The FX drama series, which stars Courteney Cox-Arquette as tabloid editor Lucy Spiller, debuted January 2nd to strong ratings. In the finale, according to TV Guide, Aniston will play a lesbian rival tabloid editor who spars with Lucy - and ends up kissing her. Aniston has kissed women on screen before: Lisa Kudrow and Winona Rider on Friends, and Dagmara Dominczyk in the Mark Wahlberg movie Rock Star (2001). Aniston and Cox's characters on Friends even kissed once, off-screen (read more about that in our history of lesbianism on Friends). But Aniston has never actually played a lesbian until now. This will also be the first time Cox and Aniston have shared the screen together since Friends ended in 2004. Dirt already has one recurring lesbian character - drug-dealer-to-the-stars Garbo, played by Carly Pope (Popular). Garbo was introduced in the third episode ("Ovaphagy") when one of Lucy's undercover reporters bought drugs from her in an attempt to elicit confidential information.
Over the course of the season, Garbo becomes romantically entangled with one of the show's lead characters, Julia Mallory (The 4400's Laura Allen), a high-profile actress whose addictions and insecurities push her into a drug-fueled downward spiral. Dirt airs Tuesday nights at 10pm on FX. |

I was so lucky to stumble into seeing that episode, and i think it has to be my favorite. I think since pump of the Volume and Heathers I have had a terrible crush on her.

So, last night I went to bed after watching Dirt. As I lie there unable to sleep, I remembered that Jennifer Aniston would make a guest appearance on Dirt later. This made me happy. I thought to myself about the possibility of Jennifer and Courtney kissing. Cause Monica and Rachel never did (off-screen, yes) but, how many of us would love to see that? I wished in my head that if they didn't kiss, Jen could at least play a lesbian...
So, imagine my surprise when I heard my favorite morning show DJs discussing that very fact. That not only would Jennifer Aniston play a lesbian but she would be smooching with Courtney Cox. Needless to say, I am beyond excited.
Now, I'm off to see what else I can will into to being with the power of just my thoughts...

Tonight on DIRT everyone gets gay! Cox character can’t have an O" with a man, maybe there is something to this, maybe the writers all along plan on making the character gay?

Why am I not suprised...
Call me crazy, but for some reason everytime Courtney and Jennifer were on-screen together on Friends, my gaydar went off with a high pitch!! I've always had the impression that there was something between them. I know, both of them have been married (that really doesn't prove a thing) and are supposedly straight, but for some odd reason, there's always something that catches my eye when I see a scene of them together, I really can't explain it! Funny thing is that the same happens when I sea Holy Marie Comb and Alyssa Milano together, LOL.....It may sound crazy, but to this day my gaydar has always been uncanningly accurate....can't wait to see the Dirt scene and maybe prove I'm bonkers...

don't get all excited just yet. i read somewhere (and i'm kicking myself right now for not remembering where) that the kiss doesn't deserve all the hype it's getting because it's just gonna be a peck (albeit on the mouth).
ah, yes, it's on IMDb: 'Aniston plays a lesbian in the March 27 episode and in one scene gives Cox's character a "goodbye peck." A source close to the show insists the kiss isn't nearly as steamy as media reports have suggested, adding, "But, yes, it's on the lips."'
