Am I really the only one, who has ever seen this Australian TV Series and wondered about Tess and Stevie? I know "Subtext" is a foreign word to the Aussies, but the rest of the world?
Should I be the only Granny watching this Show - if yes, cheers! Otherwise, I know I can't be the only one thinking sheeps are interesting? Although that is my main impetus on watching this lovely portrait of (heterosexual) farmlife.

I watched the series
... till Claire (I think her name was) got killed in that nasty car (cliff) accident. *sigh*

I like the show to be honest. But I haven't seen it for a while coz it's being aired at a very weird time. But I never seen anything between Stevie and Tess. Maybe I was to bussy drooling over Stevie and Jodi. Didn't Tess move to Argentina or something?? And what's the deal with Regan, do you have any idea where she came from... She's also a McLeod right?

McLeod's daughters is my favourite guilty pleasure at the moment (re-runs are daily on German cable TV). And I totally pretend they're all gay there on Drover's :)
But I wonder more about Kate/Jodi or Kate/Stevie (remember the "nice bum" comment?) ... and I don't understand why there's no McLeod's femmeslash out there. I would so read it!
I'm a fan
I've been watching McLeods for years and while I've never really picked up on any subtext between Stevie and Tess, I have always hoped that Stevie would at some point discover her love for the ladies.
McLeod's Daughters
First of all to Klaasie yes Regan is a cousin to the Mcleods when she first came into the show she came to get what was rightfully hers - Drovers Run (i think it was her) Yes Tess moved to Argentina after Nick came back from there after he supposdly died in a plane crash, when Tess left she was pregnant.
Don't know if episode has been aired in other countries or not if not SPOILER ALERT Jodi finds out she is a McLeod, Stevie has a daughter.
McLeod's is now in its final season here in Australia and i have to say some of the stuff that is happening in the show has been done before on other Aussie Televison shows like for example on an episode of McLeods two lovers fall down a mine shaft, same thing happened in Blue Heelers, i used to watch McLeod's Daughters, but now i don't seem to watch it as much or any of the other aussie shows like Neighbours, All Saints (these 2 have gay characters) or Home and Away, but i'm thinking if they put a lesbian character in Home and Away it would be bye bye computer and hello television.
Totally got off the subject of McLeods there for a minute or two, my fav character is Stevie and Claire back when she was in the show.
I love this show.
But I was pretty upset when my favorite character Jodi left. Her and Kate hade amazing chemistry, I loved watching those two together in any scene.
