Shameless self-promotion in what has become an AfterEllen civil war

Allow me to preface this by saying that, yes, I know bringing outside battles between AfterEllen writers to AfterEllen may be seen as uncouth, but this is a final act of desperation. True warriors do not let pride get in the way of victory, after all.

So yes, it has come to this. AfterEllen readers, I've come here to ask for a temporary defection in one category in the Lezzy Awards. Grace The Spot is only 50 votes behind Dorothy Surrenders in the Lesbian Blog Awards (The Lezzys) in the Humor category, and today is the last day to vote. The polls close at 9pm ET.

We are being slaughtered by Dorothy Surrenders in the Culture/Entertainment category (as we probably should be) and in Blog of the Year (as we probably should be), but it would be nice not to be a three-time loser. Just give us ONE victory, and we will go home happy. Please click on the link and vote for Grace The Spot in the "Humor" category. Vote Dorothy Surrenders in all other categories - we don't care about those categories anymore at this point because those are a lost cause and she deserves them anyway, but dadgummit, we'd like sumthin' ya know?
