Gay Bishop Is Asked to Say Prayer at Inaugural Event
I heard a lot of anger about Obama's choice over choosing Rick Warren for the invocation at the inauguration, but I haven't heard much mention about the Gay bishop Robinson who was chosen to say the prayer. He said befor he went into to office that he would work with people on both sides of the aisle. He is already being attacked before he can lead. I am a liberal to the core, but I also understand that I am not the only voice in this country. My biggest problem with the conservatives of the last 8 years is that they have bullied their agenda through without any consideration for the other side. I am proud to have a president who will allow ever voice to be heard even if that voice is not the same as mine. This country belongs to all of us.
