No new L Word in CanadaIt sucks to be Canadian, on the eve before the season premiere of L Word season 4, because there is no SHOWTIME access in Canada. For some bizarre reason we don't get access to HBO or SHOWTIME. What makes this even more frusterating is that the L Word is filmed in Canada but we don't get to see it, unless we wait a year for it to appear on Showcase or download it. I ask you where is the justice. So my American lesbian friends enjoy enjoy the premiere and please upload the torrent for the premiere episode as soon as possible - so those of us who are forgotten can enjoy it too. THERE IS A HUGE FOLLOWING IN CANADA AND WE HAVE NO ACCESS UNTIL THE FALL AFTER IT'S BEEN AIRED IN THE STATES.
I APPEAL TO ANY OF THE L WORD FAN'S THAT CAN DOWNLOAD THE NEW SEASON 4

I don't understand that living in Canada we are so behind....NO HBO , or SHOWTIME, we are supposed to be so open and on top of things. anyways i TOTALLY AGREE that it sucks always having to wait for THE L WORD a year later.

I'm in ontario and we get showtime but now they are playing a repeat of season 3.
i haven't been able to find movie central, is it on cable or satalite???
if i can't get it i will have to wait till the fall for it to be aired... we are so behind!!!!

Hi shdeb. I have digital cable through MTS, a major service provider here in Manitoba. I also subscribe to 4 Movie central channels for $12.99/month. You can get Movie Central if you have satellite too, my parents do..In my opinion, it's worth it because I get to see L word as soon as those in the states do. I also get access to some other HBO series' as soon as they air.

Yup, if you have satellite-small dish either Bell expressvu you can see the current season on Movie Central 4 in the west. Not sure if it's the same in the East.

Oz - Cancellation
Hey,
Here in Oz we finally finished the first season (amidst controversy of course) and saw only a couple of episodes of the second season before it was taken off!
Not to mention the fact that it was on at 11-12pm with nothing on before to cool your heels with.
Although it was on network tv, sadly i'm not sure whether the network has any intentions of reinstating the show's status and if so, moving it to a decent time slot.
Taking into consideration the somewhat depressing staple of aussie tv (compilation of reality this and reality that shows - thank gosh for cable) i doubt that we will see the L Word grace our shores for some time...
Leaving this poor little aussie to rely on downloads :)
