All My Children- Bianca & Reece Sharing a Wedding with Greenlee & Ryan. . .Really?

I think Greenlee is going to die and Kendall will get her heart. Seems familiar. Like when Gillian went into a coma and Ryan gave permission to give her heart to Laura. When AMC was awesome.

I know the actress that plays Greenlee is leaving for good. I don't think they'll have a joint wedding. But I think it would be sweet if they did. I love all four of them. I loved Greenlee and Binx since they hated each other and Greenlee outed her. They've come a long way, and they're cousins. I think it would be endearing. And just special because "Greenlee" is leaving the show and Eden probably wont stay around long. I think it would be right.

For me it's not about the lesbian wedding, although I'm stoked about it. It's more about characters I grew up with coming together and being on screen together. Greenlee and Bianca are the only reasons I held on to the show after the incredibly sad departure of Hayley and Maria. I'm just disappointed that Greenlee never got it on with Kendall.

Well for me to place Bianca's wedding next to the biggest male star on the shows wedding is a wonderful way to bookend the show having a pro-gay marriage stance.  

If Ryan and Greenlee's happy day is shown next to Bianca and Reese's what better way to say - marriage is marriage no matter the partners sex.

Rumors are the Rylee wedding isn't happening though as Budig is leaving the show. 

 The plot lately is nice and soapy but talk about treating Bianca and Reese like every other couple on the show with all their drama and love.  As Sarah Warn said - two girls are making out on daytime, on average 3 days a week I might add, and the sky hasn't fallen.  

Daytime has come a long way. 

I am a diehard AMC fan and have to say watching yesterdays episode i was a little shocked. Although i can see the great idea of combining the weddings i still think its unfair to Binks and Reese.
Since they have made so much of a fuss about their relationship i think they should have their own wedding.

What did ya think about Reese's comment though...that she thought it was unfair that if they did go though with the wedding that Ryan & Greenlees would be legal and theirs would just be a celebration??? I couldnt help but think....GRAB ONE OF THOSE JETS AND GO GET MARRIED THAT MORNING....then come back and do it in Pine Valley...so its legal too!!

Was a HUGE nod to the viewers at home watching.

I agree shelby, I think it's a total statement out there to people watching about the rights and everything.  I was glad to see a mention in the clip I watched.

I actually think Bianca and Reese will be the one to make it to the alter, and we'll continue to see these parallels between the two couples. 

I am so happy to see how well they have moved Reese into the landscape of the show.  And to see Bianca getting her true place as a core character again.  Her and Ryan talking today felt like what it would have been had Leo been still around

 They are like everyone else and I love it! 

When Bianca suggested a joint wedding I screamed NOOOOO...I mean who really wants to share their wedding with another couple....another couple as dysfunctional as Ryan and Greenlee at that!!!..But after reading another poster who said maybe its AMC's way of saying...love is love, marriage is marriage no matter what the sexes of the couples are. 

Plus I thought....If the actress who plays Greenlee is supposed to be leaving...They aren't going to very well have her get married.  So I don't think Bianca and Reese will have to share their wedding day anyway.

Im just glad AMC is treating this couple like any other in terms of them showing affection and kissing...Hopefully they give us a REAL sex scene on the wedding night! 

Wouldn't it be nice to see them get married in France, in a beautiful castle.

Well, dream on I have to say to myself. At this point they need to deal with several issues before they ever can say Yes, I do (trust you). And maybe they will do that before Valentine's day but I don't believe in this double wedding.

It would be great if AMC will give Bianca and Reese a wonderful day for themselves. So far they have done a pretty good job and this should be the finishing touch before they go back to their new build house in France. It should be such a beautiful heartwarming episode / wedding that eveybody in soapland will keep talking about for days. And if they want people to talk about it for weeks they should give the ladies a romantic / passionate weddingnight.

This is story is too big for a double wedding.

Ok - while I'm not crazy about the double wedding idea (seems kinda tacky really) - I like the point it's making...

I gotta say though - I hate what the writers have done - making Biance this jittery, jealous and insecure character. While I understand where it's coming from (who wouldn't be a little wary of love after her history) the way she's handling her feelings about the whole Zach situation is pretty immature. Has she forgotten entirely that Reese built her a house?! And gave up her family all for Bianca...

Anyways - I'm just gonna try to have faith that the writers will give us what we've been waiting for...a sweet romantic happy ending for Bianca - that will also mark a happy new beginning for Bianca and Reese...

BTW - has anyone noticed the heat those two generate on screen in their passionate moments?! Gotta dig it...

I would be so ghost if Gabrielle wasn't a factor. I like my life to be as stress-free as possible and Bianca is just too much. I get that all her previous girlfriends kinda sucked, but bringing your baggage from those other women into her new relationship is not healthy. I know it's coming as a rude awakening to Reese, but maybe they shouldn't have had a child together after knowing each other for 6 months(?). Something I'm STILL pissed about.

On a much shallower note, Eden looks thick as hell. Bianca was always cute to me, but the extra weight puts her on a whole other level.

Sterling, yup, it's hot some heat!  I've been constantly floored by the heat and the fact that the show just seems to let them be a couple, even in the background scenes.  It's HOT!!!

 I'm ok with the story of Bianca "testing" and everything as long as they work through it.  As someone who'se watched Bianca since coming out, I think it's good character growth for her to finally deal with insecurities.

Say it ain't so...I've seen posts which indicate that Reese will soon reveal that she does have feelings for Zach. I'm a huge proponent of monogamy and loyalty but for once could we see the lesbians cheat on their partners with other women. I'm soooo hoping this is just yet another stupid rumour that somebody's throwing out there. I really wanna see Bianca happy...I wanna see happy fulfilled lesbians on regular TV living regular (OK...yeah I know the Cambias Jet isn't exactly normal) lives.

So let's hope the spoilers floating around out there are way off and we'll get to see the happy couple get married...and maybe as a bonus they stay in Pine Valley a little while before moving to the Grand Maison in the Loire!

Hey Alisha - thanks for putting a sunny slant on the scuttlebutt. I happen to love Reese and Bianca together. Their story does have it's 'soapy' moments but for the most part it feels pretty organic. I love the way the writers are managing to help combat some stereotypes and put the thermometre on overdrive...those two nearly manage to give Bette and Tina a run for their money on hottest Mommies on the block...

As for earlier comments about Eden's size - I think she's just perfect. I kinda prefer it when a women doesn't look like a strong breeze could cause a fatality anyways ;)!

Regarding Reese

This spoiler was on one website, I think. It was Soap Opera Network. And it does say TO not FOR. Which could be about anything. 

There is nothing between Reese and Zach but a close friendship and that comes from the actress who plays Reese and she knows the where the storyline is going a whole month ahead in advance.

There is also a spoiler that says something about Reese being unsettled in the depth of her feelings for Zach. The spoiler writers love to exaggerate what happens on screen. So all this means is that she is a little touched by how much she cares about him. This is all a continuation of Reese not knowing if it's okay to feel close to a man(platonically) and have emotional feelings for him. 

Reese is a little sheltered and the woman was in the closet almost her whole life so she is just trying to find her way.

I may be linched for this but i'm not a big Breese fan, and I don't think they should be getting married-at least not any time soon. They have some chemistry-but so what, that doesn't mean your relationship works. And I don't like the fact that most of Reese's screentime has been with Zach, Bianca has been reduced to a bit player in her own storyline.

Bianca doesn't 100% trust Reese no matter what she now claims, and you don't get over those insecurities in one day and then everything is perfect, relationships don't work like that, soap or not.

I do believe Reese really is gay but I don't think that means she's perfect for Bianca. I love that a soap is again having a lesbian wedding (this time a legal one), but I don't really think they are right for eachother, and I think AMC may have the first gay divorce on soap in the future.

We shouldn't keep accepting the bones we get thrown just because it's a lesbian relationship, we deserve more than a very short-term storyline which consists of the couple having no buildup and has most of the viewers questioning if one of the girls really wants a guy. People on the soap boards are still convinced Reese really wants Zach and not Bianca, that is very sad and not what we were promised by AMC. I for one would have prefered one of Bianca's exes (Maggie or Lena) to be the other half of this couple, at least then we would be getting some storyline payoff, but right now this storyline doesn't do much for me.

I never thought there was anything between Zach and Reese but friendship, but I still think it's pathetic that Reese spends more time up Zach's butt than with her fiancee, and actually that isn't the reason i'm not a fan of this couple. 

I'm sorry but I don't believe for a second Breese belong together, some chemistry doesn't mean your soul mates, they have too many problems and seem to know nothing about eachother. Bianca doesn't even really trust Bianca no matter what she now says. You don't have a baby with and marry somene you've known a matter of months and that you know nothing about-it's badly written and unbelievable. I think it's great that Bianca is finally allowed a relationship where she actually gets to kiss her GF, but the rest of it is contrived and centered around a guy, that is not what we were promised by AMC and we should expect alot more.

The character of Bianca deserves her own love story not one tacked on to Zach's storyline. As for the 'idiots' on soap boards that includes gay and bisexual viewers who are also unsure of Reese's real sexuality (not including me, I always thought she was gay), soap magazines and all the soap sites have questioned if she is into Zach. That is NOT a good basis for a gay marriage and sends out the wrong message. And their interaction may have some sweet moments but it also has alot of arguments and accusations-yes that's a healthy relationship *rolls eyes*. We should demand better representation than this, because by accepting this we are allowing ABC to screw us over-again!! 

Unless AMC is cancelled soon, I don't think Breese will stay married, the producers themselves even admitted that Reese is only on the show as Bianca's love interest because Liz Hendrickson was unavailable, and they didn't think recasting Maggie would go down well with fans. They wanted to have a gay marriage on daytime and Tamara Braun is a friend of Pratt's, so he found her a role on the show as Reese. I wish that this was a real attempt by AMC to finally give Bianca a good romance, but I don't think it is.

Ok - so I get the writers need to create some drama and doubt the get ratings...but this whole Reese and Zach thing platonic as it may be is just getting to me.

I mean if I was engaged to the love of my life would I be hanging out with my brother in law all day (ok - I know they work together - but we've all noticed the casino is finished) so let's get back on with watching the wedding plans. Heck there is plenty of drama involved in planning a wedding. Plus with two brides involved there's double the tension never mind the presence of one Erica Kane in the mix...

It is interesting that I have read spoilers for AMC for years and it isn't until this storyline of sorts between Reese and Zach that spoilers are suddenly making things out to be worse than how they actually palyout.

Anyone else notice that?

Today two spoilers came to be and I saw nothing dire regarding Bianca and Reese's relationship...and nothing sexual about the crossing of paths between Zach and Reese.

I know there is yet another spoiler regarding Zach and Reese to happen...but I am suspecting it will not playout as it has been portrayed in the spoiler, itself.

Ok - the the big towel dropping scene was a total bust (pardon the pun) - at least it was to me. Reese seemed genuinely cringy about the whole thing. I didn't pick up even the slightest bit of sexual tension...

So moving on to tomorrow's 'confession'...who's betting that we'll get an admission of extremely sincere and platonic emotional attraction!

I'm also eager to see Zach rip Reese's mom a new one...although truthfully I'd rather see Erica do it.

I have to agree with everyone else aobut the dresses...OMG what was the designer thinking? Did "they" know that those 2 dresses were going to be TOGETHER?????? Cuase if they did...i'd say Binx & Reese need to go to a DIFFERENT designer. lol

BTW....WHATS up with the fact that Reese's dress wasnt white????????????

The stupidest part was Reese's cocktail length dress...she looked as though she was going to her high school prom/grad not her very own wedding. It was pretty ludicrous...but it will certainly make the real thing feel so much better.

As for the spoiler crap...that's all it is is crap.

Well, the spoiler said that Reese's mother was going to ask Reese if she was bisexual and then Reese would wonder that (if she is bisexual) aloud to Zach after her mother left.

Neither of those happened.

Reese was supposed to tell Zach about her feelings for him...and what I heard was questions...and not fully completed thoughts.

Then Reese asked him what he thought and felt when he looked at her.  Did she mean attraction or something else?

The funny thing is...it was Zach who brought up feeling impulses and not acting upon them.  Not Reese.  Zach.  Zach who got flustered when Reese accidently fell against him and Zach who nuzzled against Reese on New Year's Eve.

So I suspect that Reese is basically having the kind of relationship she used to have with her dad...but it is with Zach...it is a hero-worship kind of thing.  But because it is not her dad...she is wondering what it is all about.

But even the scene between Reese and Zach was not as bad as the spoilers made it out to be.
