for the most part it looks good to me - great design.

 I have noticed though that quotation marks are not showing properly in the forums - is that a problem for all or just me?

The code will look like junk in most of the "old" posts, but should look just fine in new ones. That's just what happens when you transfer over thousands of posts from one type of forum software to another - things like bbcode and quotations marks don't transfer.I could have just deleted all the old posts and made everyone start over, but I wanted to have them there for folks who were in the middle of discussions before we switched forums.

Don't find the new layout as friendly but maybe I'm just so used to the ole site and soon this one will be as familiar.  Thanks for keeping it up for us.  Sarah is my hero and I love her myspace page.

Love the new Layout, Lean and Clean. One point though, the HOME Button should be next to the other ones: Blogs, Tv, Movies, etc.

And where are the addresses of the writers all of a sudden? I would have writen this to Sarah in person.

...this takes the place of the "home" tab that used to be up there. We just ran out of room with the tabs.

Not sure about the email addresses for writers - I probably just have to have each writer add it to their bio. (For future reference, you can always reach me at editor@afterellen.com although it might take me awhile to respond, since I get a lot of email, and way too much spam, so sometimes I accidentally delete legitimate emails along with the spam, etc.)

 Everything is all fancy and nice. anyways, im not even sure where the best place to post this is, but im wondering about the flash chat. there are some people here who feel very alone in theyre gayness and really apreciate the ability to talk to other girls, etc. so if someone knows if its coming back, or whatever, an answer would be great.

We're hoping to add a chat room again soon, but it will probably be a few weeks at least. Sorry!

How do I get a picture to show on all my posts?  I used to have one on the old layout but now I can't work out how to put one on.

I have registered & logged on but cannot read any articles on the site! Everytime I double click on one, there is just a blank page where the article text should be. The surrounding site info is still there. Am I doing something wrong?  I have been reading things here for a year and am going through withdrawal from my regular fix of Sarah W. & Scribegrrl! 

krp3, let me know what computer (PC or Mac) and what browser (Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, etc.) you're using.

Debs, just click on your name, click "edit", then upload your photo there, and that should work.

Hello all, need help. Some threads have blank names? I'm using PC with IE7, same thing happened when I had IE6. I can still access the threads (if they have new posts in them), but I just don't know what I'm going to find. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Oh, and I just realised that some posts are not in order of the time they were posted.
